He was always available to text and really, really knew his stuff. Then, to get more clarity on the admissions process, I signed up for an admissions counseling session with the managing partner Mayssoun Bydon. I was shocked by how big a waste of time and money this was. It's an incredibly expensive service, at around $500 an hour. I had prepared a long list of questions and wanted to use that time as effectively as possible. Not only did she show up over 25 minutes(!) late for the session, she was remarkably unengaged and gave information that was more than unhelpful. I was shocked by her lack the lack of professionalism she exhibited for someone with such a good reputation. I asked about the character and the experience of what it would be like to go to different law schools, and she told me just to look at their rankings "and that would tell me the vast majority of what I needed to know". I asked with my scores what schools I should be applying for, and she told me University of Illinois, University of Iowa, etc. I told her this wasn't right, and that my GPA seemed lower than it actually was bc I went to an undergrad school known for its lack of grade inflation. She told me this didn't matter, and that I shouldn't bother with top schools. Well, I ended up getting accepted into schools in the T-14. If I followed her advice I would have missed a massive opportunity. Also, she asked me if I had any personal connections to any of the top schools. I told her that my great uncle had been a janitor at the Unicersity of Chicago. She insinuated that I should lie and say he was my grandfather on the application. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

From Wednesday to Friday there was a lot of video game time and not much structured activity. He enjoys this kind of camp but felt it "wasn't worth the money," and we agreed.

He came home with the game he designed and had some trouble getting it to work on his computer. But my son is a bit of a geek and loves to try and figure out these technical problems. He was able to and now has the game installed on his computer. The camp is definitely not cheap. We decided to send him strictly to day camp because it save us $500. Note to ID Staff: that is pricey for 4 night stay! We are lucky because we have relatives near the university and they were able to take care of our son for the week he was at camp. The teachers are young college students/graduates and were very knowledgeable and engaging with the students. No stuffy professors here. They were also very careful with our children's safety and the parents had to follow the rules when picking up and dropping off the kids for camp. I appreciated that. Our son said the food was just ok. But really, we didn't expect a 5 course meal to be served to him. These are kids. Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, turkey sandwich is really all that the kids want. We are planning another adventure at ID Tech camp this year. Programming in Java. He is really looking forward to attending again this year. Yes, this camp is a bit expensive but we put a little money aside each pay check so we can send our kids to camp each summer. Our boys know that we save all year to send them to camp. This is a good lesson for them to learn as well. When you budget for camp it makes it an easier decision to send them. Especially when they ask and want to go to camp.

Over the last 7-months, I have been tutored by Mishka. Although I've known Mishka for a lot longer,…read moreas he has been a family friend for quite a long while, it wasn't until 7-months ago that I began receiving tutoring from him, in preparation to me attending Andrews University, with me now confidently being able to say that my experience with him has been nothing short of outstanding. Mishka's knowledge and experience in math makes the quality of his tutoring sessions a lot better compared to other tutors. From him knowing exactly how to help me understand new math concepts to making sure I receive enough practice with them, Mishka makes sure I know everything I should for each math course we've covered, with him teaching me ahead, to fully prepare me for when I go to University. The thing that sets Mishka and Minee LLC apart from the rest of the crowd in my opinion is the personaliezd tutoring curriculum created based on your knowledge. When I started to get tutored, I had many gaps that Mishka found through an assessment test of my knowledge, due to previous poor teachers, lack of practice, or occassional absense of material coverage, etc... Despite all that, Mishka quickly found those gaps, eliminating them right from the start through a large amount of practice, with me no longer making silly mistakes as often. (Mishka gives homework after his tutoring sessions. Although this might scare some people off, as it did me when I began, him doing that helped me out a ton in the preparation process for my university courses, as I'm sure it will help everyone else that will be tutored by him). The final thing that I love about Mishka is his friendliness and approachable nature. Also just want yall to know that if you ever need help, you can always text him about a quick problem and he will more often than not send you a full response on how to solve it, without giving the answer away. Atop of that, he is always encouraging me to do better, motivating me to push myself academically and never give up. With this, and everything said above, I believe Mishka is the best tutor I know and have ever had. Despite my personal connection between my family and Mishka, he never shows any favoritism or gives me any leeway due to our friendship during tutoring sessions, maintaining his professionalism and session quality. Overall, I really recommend Mishka to anyone who wants to get ahead in math. He has been the best tutor I've ever had. If he wasn't, I wouldn't be writing this review to help out his business.
