Now that the I have removed My son from this daycare I will post this information. My son was restrained in a chair on 11/28 for 15 mins because him and another kid were playing and the teacher wanted them to clean up. I called his daycare and complained about it and asked that it be corrected and never to happen again. Then on Monday I got an email from the director saying my child had behavioral issues and needed one on one care I have never been told before Monday that he had a behavioral problem and that they were thinking about removing him from the Daycare. Since they told me all this stuff about my son I asked to see the concerns on camera. (Still have not been shown btw). I said I can't help correct any issues if I don't know about the issues. So they were going to give me a behavioral report on him everyday. I said that is fine but would like to see it on camera as well. I will provide anyone with what was on these reports. Mind you everything they wrote is normal toddler behavior! Received another email about him on Wed that they could not continue his care because he has learned how to open the door to the playground. Informed me he opened the door and went outside 4 times. Well what they didn't know is I was watching the camera that day and it happened once. I then stated I would like to see the other times. Instead of saying ok I was asked why do I want to see the camera do I not trust or believe them. I said no I don't. So today dropped him off for his last day. Got another email from them. Still have not been shown anything showing me he is a danger as she put it. I was asked to sign his behavioral reports and I said I would not until I read them and see the film on it if I have questions. As I watched today they they restrained my child n a chair most of the time he was there. Then I saw kids jumping on his back while the teachers where watching and not saying anything till he started crying. Please keep your child's away from this center! Please contact me if you would like the proof of everything I have stated! Nothing is false about this! I have videos and emails and conversations! So keep your kids far away! Hi there! I would like to take a minute to tell you why my family loves Peas in a Pod Learning Center. My child is 2 years and 2 months old as of this review. There are many reasons but for the sake of time, I limited my list to 3. 1) Web cameras! The web cameras are a great way for me as a working mom to be able to see my baby during the day. It's an awesome way to feel like you are still a part of your child's day even though you are at work. It is great for grandparents and great grandparents too because they can log in from wherever they are and stay up to date on what your child is learning and doing each day. My husband's grandmother watches and is constantly telling me who my child is friends with and saying "Oh did you see him do this or that today"? 2)The God Centered approach! I love that when I drop my baby off at daycare I know he is learning stories from the Bible and good moral principles. He is also taught to rely on Christ when he is mad, sad, angry or upset. In his class they have a pillow that the kids can go to if they are feeling any of these emotions and they are taught to take a few minutes to breathe calm down. I love this idea because it helps the kids know that it is ok to feel these emotions and teaches them how to deal with them when they come up which is a very crucial skill for life at any age. 3) The Teachers! The teachers are outstanding! Every day when I drop my child off at school he has a smile on his face and is ready to spend the day with this teachers and his friends. The teachers and front office staff make Peas In a Pod Learning Center an inviting and happy place to be. Our little one cannot wait to go see his friends each day and loves to list them by name! He is always coming home singing a new song or saying new words! Just the other day he was walking through the house just started listing the planets, the PLANETS yall! A 2 year old?! Blew my mind! The teachers make learning fun and help the kiddos learn at their level. Howdy, Everyone, My name is Zhenhua He. My son's name is John He. He is in P2 classroom of Peas in a Pod. My family loves Peas in a Pod very much. It is kinda like a second home. John has grown so much both physically and spiritually since he started to go to Peas in a Pod last September. Before he went to school, he was a little shy. Now he likes playing with a lot of his friends. We are also very thankful and grateful that the teachers there are so nice and caring. They really care about every child's needs. My son stayed in P1 classroom when he just started. His teachers were Ms. Maria and Ms. Madison. At that time, John didn't like sleeping by himself. Ms. Maria and Ms. Madison really helped a lot and patted him until he slept every day. This really gave my wife and myself a relief because we were a little worried John would not sleep at school. Now John has transferred to P2 Classroom. His teachers are Ms. Rosie and Ms. Brittany. They are also really friendly. They tell us about John's daily activities. For example, they told us that John didn't eat much for his lunch. Then we would like to give him something more for his dinner. From these little things, we really feel that they love our child and put him at a very important place. My husband and I love Peas in a Pod! We are grandparents and the webcam is a huge hit with us! We really enjoy being able to watch our grandson play and interact with the other kids as well as the teachers. Speaking of the teachers, they are great! The love, attention, and instruction they give to the kids is great! Even their discipline is designed to correct the behavior while respecting the child. Our grandson is obviously happy and when I babysit, he always seems to have a new song or something to share that he's learned there. He can even name the planets in our solar system! We also love that Peas in a Pod is Christian-based so it reinforces what we are also teaching him. The kids appear to have a well-balanced daily schedule that includes crafts, stories, activities, snacks, lunch, and a nap. The owner of this place is a complete joke and a liar. She calls herself a woman if God but does her families so wrong. The only reason this place is half way decent is because of the assistant director Maria. She is so sweet and truly cares for those kids and families. Stephanie on the other hand only cares about the money and since this is supposed to be a school based on Christian faith then everyone should know the scripture 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. Stephanie is most definitely evil and has to give out incentives to families for discounted tuition to give decent reviews on google because she is so back handed. Here is the truth and I pray everyone sees Stephanie for who she truly is and pulls their children out of peas in a pod learning center! I have been working at Peas in a Pod for almost a year now. I can honestly tell you this has been the most satisfying job I have ever had, from watching the kids in my two classes grow to seeing how much of an impact I have on their lives. Working here makes me feel like I have found what God put me here on this earth to do. I am truly blessed with amazing coworkers who care about each other and are willing to help you at the drop of a hat and the office staff and the owner/director are just as caring and prepared to help you in every way they can. At my previous jobs the managers would always get upset with me for wanting to learn or do more than my given tasks but here at Peas in a Pod they are ready to teach and help you go further, from new tasks at the school to helping you get your CDA. As someone who works here I have to let you know I love my job. I absolutely love to see these kiddos everyday and they are just as happy to see me. It fills my heart with love. The director does a great job of making sure the staff is trained in conscious discipline techniques and we have biweekly meeting to discuss improvement. I do my best to communicate with parents each day so they are involved as much as possible. If you are looking for childcare in the college station area please know that your little ones are going to be in good hands. We have lesson plans that include pre writing, reading, math, science, bible, dance, and music all of these are part of helping children develop socially and intellectually. Ever since my daughter started at Peas in a Pod 1 year ago we have had nothing but support and guidance when relocating to a new place and a new center. The teachers are great and really make sure that I know that they love my daughter to no end. Any time a concern has been brought up and I've taken it to the office the staff has done amazing at helping getting it taken care of and is resolved quickly. When we walk into school in the morning the staff is always telling her good morning and talking to her as if we have been here for years. I also love that she is able to learn about God while attending school. She comes home and shares stories that she has learned while attending. I also love how the school is helping mold her into a positive child of God. I could not give this more than 5 stars but if I could I would!! read more

When my husband and I decided we needed to find a new place for our little man to spend his days, we both agreed we needed a preschool that we felt we could trust; extensive background checks a must, teachers with child education degrees, stimulating environment, and high safety and security standards. Peas in a Pod has met and surpassed those standards! Between the web cameras, daily reports, stimulating curriculum, and family centered environment, we couldn't be more pleased. I absolutely lovw working for Pea in a Pod learnig center. Its such a warm loving environment mainly because everyone there teachers and parents work so well with one another. Most importantly were a group of ladies that thrive to see our children succeed, and grow to be the young girls and boys God places them on this earth to be. We are so grateful to Peas in a Pod for their excellent care of our daughter. Our daughter receives care from teachers that truly love her. She learns and grows every day through consistent schedules, structured play time, art, reading, music and dance, circle time, and out door play. She also is taught of the love of Christ. I love Peas in a Pod because they make child care feel like family care. The class sizes are small, all the kids get along really well together, the staff is super friendly and inviting. They send pictures throughout the day so I feel connected to Dean even when we're apart. They also bring the community to the center so they learn from community leaders about caring and helping others and responsibility for the world around you. I absolutely love this daycare/school they are the only school with cameras I can check on my kids all throughou the day. Also they always call and check on my kids whenever they have missed school for a couple of days, very communicative. They even reached out to help me with transportation for my kids because my car is no longer work. I love that our teachers and parents get involved in the different activities here and there's a family feel to the work environment where we all get to know each other. Our little one has been going to Peas In a Pod Learning Center for four months now and we are loving it! He is now 15 months old and is learning new things all the time! Don't ever let positive reviews fool you especially if they are so close together. The Director has (more than once) bribed parents with a raffle for $100 for anyone that gives a 5 star review. If you care about the well being of your child...stay away!!! The director hides the truth to make her and the center seem innocent, she talks down to you, and insists they she knows what's best for your child. We have been using Peas in a Pod for over a year now for our two littles. I love the environment and the staff. You can really tell they genuinely love their jobs! We love the Christian based curriculum and that the kids are actually learning and not just being baby sat. They also are so good about communicating and the web cams are just the cherry on top.
