History: My parents had 2 homes; one @ South Crowley & one @ Intracoastal City, so I frequented Robie's for decades. I can hear my late Mom: "Son, when you get to Robie's, get me a small sack of yellow onions. Ask the butcher to split & season 3 small fryers for our BBQ tomorrow." Champagne's Robie's is still mostly called "Robie's" by many of us. They now carry multiple frozen products from local food companies like "LENA'S" & "Ouida's". Crawfish pies, seafood egg rolls, shrimp dishes, etc. When I last visited the in-store made boudin was unavailable, but I think that may have been corrected by now. Excellent large front parking, helpful folks, nice selections on most things. Do stop by Champagne's "ROBIE'S" and check it out ! Rick .

I run in because I'm going to make a Cajun spaghetti so I need ground meat, sausage, and decided to just do a jar sauce instead of making it from scratch. Was definitely having a conversation with one of the workers who was stocking the shelves on the spaghetti aisle about making it from scratch or the jar. Well, I decided to go jar and bring everything up to the counter and had the pleasure of encountering Edra. I put my things on the counter, keeping in mind I have never been into the store before and chose to go here over Piggly Wiggly, Edra begins checking me out and looks at me and says everyone is coming in here for spaghetti today. I say oh we all must be on the same wavelength. Then she proceeds to say, "y'all are all lazy because y'all don't make your sauce from scratch." It took every being of my cell to not react to this very out of line statement. I don't care who you are, how old you are, what position you hold calling customers that are choosing to come to your store over other grocery stores that I had to pass up to get here is flat out rude. I just looked at her smiled and said I hope that you have a great day. She did not bother to hand me the receipt or the bags I had to walk around the counter, grab the bags and the receipt and I walked out. Needless to say, I will not be shopping there anymore and will happily choose Piggly Wiggly any day. Its extremely rude and disrespectful to paying customers, the food there is delicious but when asking for any extras on your food its impossible to get what you pay for. They never add the correct amount of extra pepperoni to my pizza, I ask/request for extra for a reason. On another note, the garlic cheese bread is almost always burnt to the point where it is inedible, who wants to pay almost $6 for something that taste stale and has the texture of cardboard. There is so much potential that is being wasted, and the customers are having to suffer. Absolutely ridiculous, do better.

Weekly sale started on choice T-Bone's for under $5 a pound. Came 3 to a pack and all were cut…read morethick. Its packaged so only one can be viewed fully from the top and it looked like a porterhouse cut. After I un-packaged them the other 2 per pack were not nice at all. Basically just the strip portion with a bone and a very lackluster piece of the filet. One of the 3 was cut very unevenly and will basically have to cook that one like stew meat in an onion gravy. For the price not a bad deal I guess but keep in mind the other 2 look nowhere close to the one that's fully viewable.

When I walked up to get checked out the lady didn't even move anything out the way so I could set my stuff down. I had to do her job to clear the counter myself and had to hand her everything. I gave her a coupon that was a get $5 back if you spend $25, and my total was only $24 so she said it wouldn't work. I added a candy to make the total $25. She continued to ring me up then I noticed my total was still higher than $25. I asked her why and she said it was only valid on dec 1. So...why did we go through all that when you could have just told me that in the first place? She was very sassy with me the whole time and I was nothing but patient with her, so I just paid my total and left.
