We've used Tom's services for years in multiple properties and have never been disappointed. He's always thorough, professional, responsive, and competent, and is also a really nice person (which is always good, but especially appreciated when you're dealing with not-so-nice issues like infestations!). He takes the time to explain what's happening at your property in depth - whether it's a big issue or little - which is so nice because it gives you the chance to understand how to fix it properly from the source, rather than just giving a superficial solution to complex problem as some people might do. In our case, for example, we called him about an infestation of bugs (strawberry weevils or something) in the house - but once he'd dealt with that, he pointed out that our rotting deck was harboring wood-boring ants, which we didn't even realize and hadn't even called him about. Now that we're replacing the deck, we're designing it so that the same thing won't happen again, so he's saving us from potential future infestations as well. We had, key word being "had" a real issue with what turned out to be extremely aggressive Hunts bumble bees. stung 5 of us and my dog. we were unable to enjoy the back deck due to these bees that actually came right at you and chased you. Crazy, never seen the likes of this type of aggression from bees. they were entering and exiting their nest under our deck right at the base of the back door. you had to really watch opening and closing the door or they would fly in the house. I called Tom Peckitt of Peckitt Pest Solutions in a panic in September 2015 when I discovered what I though were bed bugs in my home. He responded immediately and verified my fears, as well as pointing out carpet beetles and evidence of the occasional mouse ( i live on an acreage). He then helped me find help to prepare my home for treatment and took phone calls and answered question and calmed my fears on an ongoing basis for months as I had my home treated twice and tried to deal with the fallout.
