Outstanding experience, outstanding result. My wife and I are really happy with the new driveways…read moreinstalled by the System Pavers crew. The front of our house looks fantastic and we're getting lots of compliments from neighbors and people walking by. We solicited bids from multiple contractors, ranging from our longtime general contractor (who "had a guy who does pavers") to other paver specialists. Here's why we went with System Pavers and why we can recommend them to other homeowners: --Communication and responsiveness: From the start, our sales consultant, Kelly Casper, was easy to work with. He offered helpful suggestions, explained their process clearly, and responded promptly (sometimes immediately) to any question via text or email. That same level of clear communication and responsiveness carried through with our project manager, Oscar Maciel, who is a consummate professional. --Knowledge and skill: Our project wasn't simple and we had a lot of decisions to make and challenges to solve during the process. For example, our two driveways are at slightly different levels, which required careful consideration with leveling and drainage. We also deliberated about whether we wanted a single or double border. I'm a very hands-on client and asked lots of questions. Oscar troubleshooted everything with me, explained all my options, and we came up with the right approach. When we changed our minds mid-project about the height of the divider wall between driveways, Oscar worked with Yobel, the construction lead, to make the changes without disruption. I think this is the #1 reason I'm glad I chose System Pavers, because I'm not sure I would have the same confidence in a general contractor or budget pavers contractor. --Quality and commitment: Yobel and his team worked diligently and I watched their progress from demolition and excavation to adding the base layers. They did everything well and worked over the weekends to catch up after some delays with the availability of the stone we chose. Overall, a positive experience from start to finish.

Last spring we were looking to buy a place in Marin. We found a condo that had an exclusive use…read moreeasement and Stephan with Natives for Life had done a garden in front. We fell in love with the garden and it was one of the main reasons we bought the place. Fast forward to now, he just finished planting native wild flowers in another part of our property as well as installing a large planter and several plants, herb gardens, in a concrete area of our property. We are so happy with Stephan's work. We share his passion for native plants and his sustainable approach. The irrigation he set up for us was sophisticated but easy to manage. He provided detailed information on everything he planted. A couple of plants ended up not seeming happy in their new spots and he was eager to switch them out so we could have plants that would be thrive in our microclimate. The initial garden was set up in part for privacy and that has been so valued as we now have natural privacy from neighbors on one side, but it looks very beautiful and all the neighbors admire our gardens. It has truly increased the value of the property. Highly recommend Stephan and Natives for Life.

He designed a beautiful pallet of native plants, with room for vegetables. He also troubleshot the full irrigation system on our property, fixed leaks, drew a detailed map, and figured out all of the irrigation programs (which were previously a mystery). Stephen was very flexible, reliable and easy to work with. He was very flexible when I asked to swap out a couple of the plants in the original design. He is a very experienced and knowledgable gardener with great attention to detail.
