This course is a good walk. Holes ranging from 160 to 510 yards, and not too much rough to garden in, I think it's definitely worth the short drive from Central London.

The targets are haphazardly placed and the ground will often send your ball off in various directions but it is easy to see where it has gone. The range is undercover with about 3 outdoor mats available if the weather permits. The staff are all friendly and you can even book golf lessons. There is a little cafe attached which you can either sit inside or outside if the weather is nice, plus you can see the resident ducks, they seem to always be there.

Great for the kids There are several intersecting paths for leisurely afternoon strolls, a football club, tennis club, and even a clubhouse cafe for a lazy afternoon of tea and cake. The thing I like about this park is that it isn't really big enough to get lost in, and you can see where you are (for bearings) at all times, because it's flat, unlike Wimbledon Common. Just make sure you don't go off track and end up on the adjoining golf course! There is no way out once you find yourself in and the golf club members don't take too kindly to 'Sunday walkers' getting in!
