I could almost jump out of my seat in shock. The nerve they have to push this on our newborn. A basic toxicity sheet indicates that not only do yeast proteins and formaldehyde both link to cancer in lab rats but the data also shows over a 50% decrease in life expectancy in female lab rats when the body converts that formaldehyde into Formic acid. A Controlled lab study showed these results in less than 7 months of study. Why would my babies body be any different? What is worse is they are combining the two formaldehyde and yeast proteins wich in combination cause a nuclear mutation of cancer. After looking into the other scheduled shots I realized most of them link to cancer..... To think if I would have missed that visit and my better half couldn't read a data sheet like my self, in its simplest form we would be contributing to the cancer market. Our baby would be in for life long heart ache and suffering so someone could make a coin. I kindly spoke up and said we will pass on the shot. We where asked to never return and find a new provider.... Was this about the shots this whole time? A bully tactic to force parents to take toxic drugs and not bat an eye? Kicked us to the curb the second a parent made a simple decision against there wishes, and one based on public data... You have some nerve pediatrics associates. THE WORST! THe worst pediatric associates location I've been to. My family has visited Aventura, Hollywood (both locations), West Palm Beach and Plantation. This is by far the worst. Every single time I bring my child the wait is excessively long regardless of being on time to a scheduled appointment. But the real issue here is the front staff. They are all (I mean ALL) extremely rude including the manager. They had smirks when I had a question regarding my insurance, there was an erroneous error with billing wrong carrier was billed and I was treated so poorly by these women. The work culture of the front office is condescending, rude, unprofessional towards the patients. Sad because once you are treated by the nurse or pediatrician it's a different world. They are kind and helpful and caring. The entire front office including their manager should be replaced with actual trained staff who don't portray misery or hate towards their employment and patients. The manager was the first to walk out with a chip on her shoulder and attitude. When you work to serve people you have to have a level of understanding especially if the patient is not being rude or irate and only inquiring on concerns or questions. You know like do your job. This place shouldn't have two stars. If you put a low rating it's because you haven't seen Dr. Cotler. He is hands down the best pedestrian I've ever been too. People wait long periods of time to see him because he genuinely cares about the well being of your child and you. You can feel it by the way he takes his time with every single patient. How illegal is this??? My first initial visit with this terrible place was not even documented due to the extreme malpractice on my 3 week old baby!!! I just created a patient portal after being switched to different physician for my daughter and now there's no record of the incident and when I asked what they documented has her temp because the first visit it said 67 degrees and that's not physically possible but they took it twice and that's what it said.. I was again treated terribly due to my past and this time her doc physically took it out on her after reading our hospital discharge summary..it was so bad they had to remove doctor from the area because I was crying and screaming at her for traumatizing me and my daughter...we were then both removed from that doctors exam room by another nurse who had to not only console me but my poor baby who was left in a freezing cold room naked with only a swaddle for an hour because the pediatrician took her time when she heard my daughter screaming at the top of her lungs for 45 minutes straight..I then couldn't get to her clothes because they removed my stroller from room to hallway with diaper bag in bottom of stroller. A nurse then intervened after hearing me yelling and being completely hysterical who then had to wrap my daughter in 4 blankets to calm her and she held her while I used restroom after not having the chance to even use bathroom in the morning because I was late to the appointment even though I'm ten minutes down the road because not only am I a complete and total new mother but on top of that I am a single mother doing this completely alone while experiencing extreme judgment on my past drug history but now have been sober for almost 2 years. My daughter and I were then removed from that room and put into a larger more warm room with a completely different pediatrician who was apologizing for me and my daughters treatment and sent me home with a 4 pack of formula. read more

I have two daughters that come to this office and I know doctors offices often get a bad rep, but this office has yet to disappoint. I've been taking my 5 year old here for a year and my 4 month old and I never struggle to get an appt. I never wait too long in the waiting room. However when I get called back there is a slight wait for the doctor but that's expected. The wait is long. The staff condesending. And to top it off, they do not honor your religious freedoms! They have been my doctor for over 12. They ALMOST do not want to give me medical care because I refuse to vaccinate my child. As I explained, I was not there for vaccinations because we have a religious exemption. I was only ther for a wellness visit/physical. They told me that I needed to find another doctor because they do not honor religious exemptions. They wanted me to sign a refusal to vaccinate which I didn't because the paper says that I've gone to a website to see the side effects of vaccinating and not vaccinating, which at the time, I couldn't do. I'm appauled at their stance. My wellness yearly check up is supposed to be free and they charged me either way! They are a disgrace! read more

This clinic has no appreciation nor respect for the patients and their parents who come to seek medical attention. I have twin toddler boys, whose appointments were at 9:50 AM and 10:30 AM. I didn't take them to daycare for the appointments. I showed up with my boys at 9:20 AM to fill out all the forms and get everything in order, as we are new to the area and this clinic. I finished all the paperwork and was checked in by 9:30. This goes to show how much respect I have for the time of the clinic and their doctor. It was definitely not reciprocated. At 10:22 AM, we still were waiting outside and had not been seen by anyone. People who came before us were getting in and out. My boys were getting very bored, hungry, and were trying to figure out how to entertain themselves. The only thing they had for kids was a TV airing the colorized version of the 1950 movie "Cinderella". My kids did not care for it. I went up to the front desk and ask them what was going on. They had a sign in front that said to inquire if you were waiting more than 30 minutes. They said they would get back to me. No one ever did. At 10:35, I again inquired. I was more incensed by this time. They said the doctor was running behind and they would go inquire again. At 10:40, they called us in and measured my son's weight and height and showed us into a room. A nurse came in around 10:48. I told her that our appointment was at 9:50 and that it was unprofessional and rude of her and the doctor to be treating their patients this way. She walked out of the room and talked loudly saying that she did not have deal with me, a rightfully incensed patient's father he had been waiting for more than 1 hour. At 10:53, I had the unfortunate displeasure of meeting Dr. Wong. His badge says he is the lead physician for the office. I told him that it was inexcusable making his patients wait more than an hour for a clinic visit. I also asked him whether this was his routine practice and would I have to expect this in the future. He admitted that he routinely does see patients late and would not comment about how long. He says he strives to provide excellent medical care. I told him that if he is not able to see his patients in an appropriate period of time and that if this was how it would go moving forward, that I did not feel comfortable having him as my son's doctor and walked right out of the clinic with my boys. Reading through the google reviews from the last month and beyond, this is the standard practice of this clinic. Many other parents have had similar or worse experiences. And they are all met with the same response from the Clinic: "We appreciate your feedback and would like to discuss your experience. Please contact us at your convenience at 954-315-5770 or customerservice@pediatricassociates.com." It is very obvious that the doctor is incompetent and does not care about his patients or their time. And the clinic very clearly allows and promotes this behavior from its physicians. If you care about your children even a little bit, please avoid this practice at all costs. read more

This place is not organized and they do not have the common decency yo assist and problem solve by either rescheduling and/or giving us the options for a nurse practitioner and or another physician. Dr. Yolanda Barbosa is such an amazing doctor. You can tell she is passionate about her job and truly love kids. She was extremely attentive and compassionate towards my daughter and I. She even went an extra mile to write a letter for my daughter to get therapy sooner. I am so appreciative of her and will only Let my daughter see her moving forward. The front desk is full of a bunch of incompetent individuals that just seem to chitchat with each other and not address the overcrowded waiting room! Do yourself a favor RUN AWAY FROM HERE unless you have no job or life to get to because you will wait here a minimum of an hour then when you finally bring you back to a room, you will wait another 30-60 minutes! Will never go there again , dr Lori Arbeitman is the worst possible doctor I have ever seen with my children over 15 years , went for a first visit there with my daughter , Dr Arbeitman was rude, unprofessional , disinterested , not friendly whatsoever , never asked my daughter any questions , all she was interested in is what vaccine my daughter is missing because that is their main income . She also wrote in her chart that she had blood , vision and heating tests done just to charge insurance when I refused those tests after I saw how the doctor is treating us . Knowing what I know now, I'm glad we switched from this practice. Initially, we left because my son had a flat head (plagiocephaly) and our doctor didn't even notice it. My son ended up getting a helmet a month later. If I hadn't said he "he has a flat head" he would've sent us on our way without looking. Furthermore, my son has a lip, tongue and cheek ties which contributed to his reflux. Maybe if he would've checked I wouldn't have needed to get my son on medication. They are NOT PRO-CHOICE on vaccines and he laughed at me when I brought up my concerns with vaccine ingredients. He looked at me puzzled when I mentioned a few, like he didn't even know what was in them himself. Furthermore, like with most practitioners, they don't understand what informed consent means. Yes, their after care hours are verrrrry helpful because then you don't need to run to the ER. But I'm fully satisfied with moving on to another pediatrician. read more

I'll start looking for another site, the policies are horrible, apart from the fact that most nurses are rude, they want to tell you about them missing or late since you entered when the policy was created just this year! If you are going to create a new rule, it is fine, but count the faults since you created the policy, not since my son was just born (now he is 5 years old), I do not recommend this place to anyone, I have always had problems and yes The endurance was because Dr de la sota is the best, but the team and the policies suck! and just for that I will look for another place. read more

I completely utterly can't stand this office! They have absolutely no respect for people's time. Not one time did I come to this office and not wait less than 1-2 hours to see a docter-and then go to a room for at least another hour. Be warned! We have a choice to go to other places and to other Dr's offices so they need to get the office together and have reasonable times. Manage your schedules better and staff the office properly so we don't have to sit on a waiting room with screaming kids running all over the place looking at each other and listening an overplay of videos. Can never imagine how a pediatric center for babies can be so careless, went there 3 times with my newborn and each time it was almost an hour of waiting in the car (with prior scheduled appointment, not walk-in) and then another 1 hour waiting in the room before doctor arrives. It's not a single time, happened all the 3 times and when I complained to the front desk they didn't care that I had to wait with my 2 weeks old for more than 2 hours each and every time, it's ridiculous. I just got a response like this can happen and it's normal for them, so insensible. It's very crowded too and not much spacious, horrible for an office which provides medical services to babies. Dr. Cotler was nice, I really loved to continue with him BUT it's not possible because of the horrible service and waiting times. Seems like only this location is this bad, changed my appointments to another location. Not recommended at all, look for other locations if you don't want your baby to suffer. read more

This doctors office is the very worse office. My son has ADD/ADHD. The process with this and this office has been nothing short of a nightmare! Make an appointment to get the papers to get me and the teacher to fill them out. I dropped my papers off a few days later. The teacher wanted her answers to remain confident so she mailed them to the office. The office called me 3 times confused about why I hadn't dropped my papers off! After repeating myself each time I was so frustrated. About 10 days go by and they tell me they got the papers I need to come in for yet another appointment. So I come in and wait in the waiting room for 2 hours!! No joke. I was there from 4-6pm! So they hand me the prescription after the appointment. And I take it to Walgreens. Walgreens says "sorry we need a pre authorization." So I call the office on Friday and the lady basically tells me this isn't an emergency and it won't be able to be dealt with until Monday. Monday comes and I call the office and the nurse assistant tells me "yeah it's in the bin waiting for a doctor to sign it." WHAT? My family is waiting down at the pharmacy and my son can't even start the medicine!!! Zero empathy from this office. Don't come here. Your child will be just another number to them. They don't respect your time or your sanity. I now need to call and switch out of this turn style office. Waste of time and they make you make so many appointments. I'm still without a well child physical form for my son for next year. You think they could do that with the ADD/ADHD follow up? Nope! Have to make another appointment for that. The only reason I even put one star is because I had to. I will NEVER come back here again. After coming home from work at 5, I found out that my little brother wasn't feeling well. He is 9 years old. He honestly looks like he is 6. He's just tiny. Anyway aparently all afternoon he was throwing up. He cant eat because everything is coming back up. Cant drink anything either. He was running a fever and his skin was looking pale. I tried getting him to eat, tried pedialyte and pediasure. Tried ginger ale. But nothing worked. He kept throwing up. Finally I called Pediatrics. The nurse said he needs to come in but they're full and can't take him.. That makes no sense to me. You're telling me that my child needs to come in because this is urgent but you cant take him? What kind of doctor's office are you? That makes no sense! A family friend had a 2 year old who had similar symptoms. They thought they could wait until the morning to take their child to the doctor. They gave their child medicine, fed him a little and went to bed. By morning the baby died. It was too late. A few hours can make a HUGE difference. That horror story will always be in the back of my mind. My siblings are like my own children. I dont think people should be careless with their children and doctors and nurses take an oath to care for their patients. Im very disappointed in this establishment. Thank god the emergency room is around the area and I was able to take him there. read more

This practice is awful!!! On two separate occasions I called the office because my daughter was sick and they could not fit me in. What is the point in having a pediatric doctor that you can not see when your child is sick??? This is a tremendous practice and I am sure the doctors/partners do very well.
