The utensils are plastic that are dispensed. The coffee cups are made of Styrofoam, surprising since this is promoted as a"farm to table" restaurant. You can dispense your own coffee and pick up non refrigerated packaged creamers. No fresh milk or creamer offered. Again surprising. My wife asked a food preparer if she could have some fresh milk for her coffee. It was provided in a plastic container. I ordered an egg, cheese, and bacon on a biscuit. I didn't see any other type of bread offered. My wife ordered the waffle making a point for it to be prepared plain. Our pagers went off and we went to pick up our food. The waffles my wife ordered plain had some kind of cream on it. The server said she didn't see any note about it being prepared plain. She took it back to remake it and brought it out to our table. The coffee was very weak and not very good. My wife threw hers out. Her waffle was tasteless. She took a couple of bites and threw it out as well. My biscuit sandwich was also very disappointing. I specifically asked the butcher for a fresh case because I was concerned about how long it had been sitting out. He refused and assured me it was "fresh." When I got home and opened the meat, it had a strong rotten egg odor, clearly indicating it was spoiled. There was no way this was safe to eat. I returned the next morning around 9:30 AM and spoke with the manager (Marcella). She handled the meat with her bare hands, said it "smelled fine," and told me I could still cook it. I explained this was for a gathering and could make people sick, but she refused to give me a refund or replacement and walked away. This is not just bad customer service--this is a serious food safety issue. Selling potentially spoiled meat and refusing to correct it is unacceptable and dangerous. I would strongly caution others to check their purchases carefully, especially meat products from this location.

Arnold's typically sells grass/grain fed beef as that's what most people seem to prefer, but they have graciously brought in 100% grass fed/finished beef for us and some other customers with their Iowa beef shipment and it's been delicious! Much better than other grass fed/finished halves we've purchased from other farms & the family actually prefers eating in with our Arnold's steaks rather than dining out. Arnold's handles the entire process from dispatch to packaging. For 1/2 cows they cut and package based on our preferences and even agreed to do a 21 day hang time to further tenderize the meat. Pricing was high, but it was worth enjoying the meat and the way it's cut/packaged. The store is very simple - it's a small shop behind their home in Fort Denaud (between Alva & Labelle). Make sure to check their hours before going and realize they get really busy during 4H/fair time.

My friend is a former resident of Fort Myers and is familiar with the Walker Farm. This was my first visit. My friend made his purchase and , not knowing there are various flavors of honey until now , I decided to try some. I tried the Black Mangrove honey and the Orange Blossom honey. There are other flavors but I liked the Black Mangrove and purchased a small bottle for $27.50 There are larger bottles for $50.00. The Bees are on site and the honey is produced and sold there in a little rickety wooden frame house. The owner Buddy Walker , a cantankerous BUT pleasant young fellow , ( he's 82 ) greeted us as we entered the store. I admired the beautiful Palm Tree in front of the store and asked Buddy what was the name of that Palm Tree. He said he didn't know. As we were pulling out of the lot to leave, Buddy came running out to tell us that he checked and discovered the name of the Palm tree is Bismarck. Now that I know there are various flavors of honey I will return and maybe try another flavor. Can't wait to try this Black Mangrove in my Green Tea. See ya later Buddy
