There were many photos that we received that I can honestly say, I do not remember Rob even taking them. He was just there, not in the way and not in your face. He was just there to catch every single moment, that he felt would be important to us. Again, Rob caught moments I do not even recall, and for that I am most grateful. While shooting our photos outside pre reception, Rob made the experience fun which translated to amazing photos. Rob has this ability to see a shot, that most would not even think of. Whether it was the sun on a cloud at a particular moment, the shape of a cloud, the sun on the water or a bird about to fly over, he caught the most minor details most would overlook. There is one particular photo that Rob took of my wife and I, I must say, it is by far our favorite. We have received countless compliments about our pictures from both friends we have shown, and friends of friends that have seen it online. Most have stated the shot looks like it came from/belongs in a magazine. I assure you, these compliments come due to the beauty of my wife and once again, the detail Rob captured in it. I am reluctant to post the photo on Google, but it is on Robs website and social media pages. Again, what we loved most about Rob was how he captured moments without being interfering. We gave Rob complete freedom to "call the shots." If you have particular photos you want Rob to take, write them down and let Rob know. He will discuss all the details in the many consults he will have with you prior to your wedding or special occasion. We hired Rob as our photographer because of recommendations from friends. We were amazed at how quickly they turned that around, after shooting so many hours of footage the night before. When I first saw the Highlight video, I was so thrilled, I couldn't wait to share it with my husband that night! Their editing is fantastic, the music choices are original and thoughtful, the cinematography is fabulous! This will be a perfect way to remember the day for years to come! The whole Latimer crew is very friendly and easy-going. Laura knows how to interact with the subjects while she is photographing to get you to smile and look your best. Dan and Lori do the right thing by blending into the crowd while taking video. They were all very professional. Dan showed organization and dedication by scouting out the church and reception locations the day prior. The equipment is also very impressive, up-to-date and high tech (as you can see on their blog). We appreciated that Daniel was flexible about the type of media to use for sharing the video with our family - Blu-ray, DVD or web-based were options. They also make it super easy to book, tell them about the wedding plan, and pay for their services. Everything is online, even signing the contract, which was cool. We had an extremely good experience with hiring Latimer Studios to document our wedding. We really prioritized finding vendors who had experience working with queer couples, people of color, and disabled people - whose portfolios aligned with our values and our wedding party beyond simply stating "all are welcome" on their websites - and Natalie delivered. I have never been comfortable or felt like *myself* in front of the camera because of my flat affect and rigidity (I'm neurodivergent), so I was particularly anxious about having "good" photos from our wedding day. But Natalie's warm demeanor immediately put my mind at ease, and I was blown away by how our engagement photoshoot went. Having (obviously) never planned a wedding before, my wife and I were a bit overwhelmed by all the decisions and coordination that go into making 100-plus-person party go off without a hitch, but Natalie helped us put together a custom timeline that somehow fit in plenty of photos with our large, loud, blended families, and even an extra photoshoot for my parents! She communicated with all our vendors in advance and kept the entire day running on time. She helped button our dresses and clasp our jewelry, helped us stay present and enjoy each moment while offering direction when warranted. And the photos... Wow.
