I started it by looking at 35 different photographers for my wedding in October 2020. From those 35 we weeded out a lot simply because they didn't have our date available. There were 3 that really stood out to us one being LM Wood Photography. The main thing that should out was how reasonable her pricing was and we ABSOLUTELY loved her available packages for our wedding. So, we set up a time and place to meet and sit down and talk(I mean who wouldn't want to meet the person that's going to be capturing one of the most important days of your life!). We set up a meeting a Dunks in Manchester so that she didn't have to drive anywhere far just to make it easier on her. After waiting for the meeting for 2 weeks she sends me a message on Facebook and says that she had a bad fall and needs to reschedule. I completely understood and wished her a speedy recovery and told her I would reach out to her the following week. The following week I went to go Facebook message her and the entire business page was gone! I got extremely nervous and went digging for her website and luckily found it! I sent her an email asking if she was still doing business and she explained that she's in the process of making a new Facebook business page and that she can't meet me that week because of a death in the family. Again, I completely understand and no big deal. Well, third time is a charm! We finally set up another meeting(now over a month since our first conversation and original meeting date). Our meeting was supposed to be tonight. As a professional person and being in business for myself I send her a quick email this morning to confirm our meeting. No response. I send another just after noon. No response. So I call her around 3:45. No answer so I left a voicemail. Text her. Nothing. I am beyond frustrated and just want anyone that even thinks about working with her to BEWARE! I thank anyone and everyone that took the time to read this review. I hope that this helps someone in the future and that it prevents anyone from ever having to deal with the frustrations that I have had to deal with in the attempt at working with LM Wood. Anyone can look good on paper but the real person came out very quickly. I can only imagine what could have happened if we loved forward. Maybe she would have just never shown up and I would have had no pictures of one of the most special days in a mans life.

Yes she was a super nice person and had a reasonable price but when it came to the photos it took over 2 months before I finally got them after having to keep messaging her asking where they were because she said they were sent multiple times and then when they finally came in I only got a few of them and had to ask what happened to the ones of me getting ready and my father walking me down the isle and other important ones. which then she sent me a link to some other photos and told me I could download them off the website but there were still a lot of the ones you would want not there. I only have two of my father walking me down and they are blurry. i have a few of us girls getting ready and she spent over 2 hours with us while getting ready. After downloading them all to my laptop I only got about 120 photos and half of them are blurry and grainy.

Donovon Photography photographed our wedding in July of 2011…read more Ted and Sarah or Donovon Photography were very receptive to our ideas and what type of pictures we wanted. They were present but invisible at the same time. We hardly even noticed their presence but they were able to capture all the right angles and moments and our guests enjoying themselves. They also puts their own creative spin on what we wanted to do. We were a little intimidated at the whole photo process but they made it fun and relaxing. When the pictures came back I was amazed and instantly in love. They were beautiful and unique, so much more than we could have asked for. The photos perfectly captured our special day! I would recommend Donovon Photography to anyone looking for not just engagement / wedding photos, but for portraits, family, maternity and other life events.

The Donovons did an amaaaazing job and made everyone look great without being annoying or obtrusive. Too often "photojournalistic" just means things look staged but corny rather than classic. These photographers stayed out of the way and didn't push people around, but managed to get beautiful shots. I kept looking at pictures this morning and thinking "whoa...there was a photographer over there??" They totally faded into the background, unless they were trying to wrangle ten first cousins, fifteen children, and ten uncles and aunts into one frame (note: numbers are estimates...but they made that picture happen!) in which case they're assertive without being awful. Also, just generally nice people and a pleasure to work with. I shopped around a lot because I was planning my wedding from Norcal so I couldn't meet my various wedding people, and part of my hesitation about using Donovon Photography was their dearth of Yelp reviews (hey, I live in Palo Alto, it means something up here). I hope this helps them - and you, smart shopper! - because I was so glad I picked them. My dad remarked that in most weddings, you get only a handful of really well done photos...and these people turned out dozens if not hundreds. I haven't seen as many wedding albums as my dad but I'm inclined to believe him. These folks are excellent, you will not regret taking them on to photograph your wedding. You *can* beat the price, but only by a little.

Rude rude people. They were doing team photos for weare town soccer and couldn't have acted more…read morerudely to parents or put and bothered to take your money. Disorganized too. Just a big pile of forms sloppily strewn on a table which I guess you were supposed to figure out how to fill out or where to go. They were all dressed like slobs too. Like dirty sweatpants. Don't really care how the photos turn out just a negative experience. I think they are related somehow to the league coordinator.

Went here to get some citizenship photos (not passport -- these are even MORE esoteric than…read morepassport photos). Even though I had to cancel on him once, Roger didn't seem to mind and was a true professional with meticulous work ethic. He also has a great sense of humor and is someone I would definitely do business with again. Pricing was very competitive for the product delivered. Highly recommended!

They're married, and the obvious love they have for each other, and the fun they have working together, added to the wonderful day that we had.
