Thomas and Ron were great hosts on our tour today. We really enjoyed the Saturday Social Tour! Thomas was very knowledgeable, respectful, and kind. Ron kept us safe on the road. It's nice to be able to try wonderful places without worrying about driving! They have everything you need to have a great day on the bourbon trail; light snacks, water, soft drinks, and cups to sample with on the coach. We enjoyed our time with our guide at the Frazier getting a brief knowledge overview of bourbon before our journey began. We started bright and early with a delicious tasting there! We then had a delicious lunch that was ready almost exactly when we arrived, which was great after already having a few tastes! The tours at Jim Beam and Heaven Hill were very informative and enjoyable. We really hope to go to try out the Thursday and Friday tours sometime soon! read more

Can't say enough good things, it would take all day. PEGASUS ROCKS. I booked them to go from Louisville to the Indy 500. They worked with me months in advance to get the right bus and itinerary. Tony, our driver, showed up early (and we had a 6am call time!) and dropped us around 7pm. Tony was so unbelievably professional and fantastic the whole day, and continually did what he could to go the extra mile for us. He even brought two extra coolers for us! This whole experience was so easy and worth the cost. We had zero worries. It was pouring rain and our amazing driver, Susan had enough extra large umbrellas for all of us. The car had ice, water, snacks and everything you could think of to make us comfortable. She even made us lunch reservations when we were at a tasting. The car was great, the driver was exceptionally attentive, and they helped coordinate the planning process of which distilleries to visit and some of the details before we got to town. This was the limousine service I used for a friends birthday outing. We went to Frankfort Ave & Bardstown Road & every time the driver was ready & waiting after each stop. We never had to wait for him. I've waited for other limo drivers before & that's annoying. Something else that I thought was cool was that the inside of the limo seemed brand new everytime we re-entered. So, basically we caused a mess each stop & when we came back to go to the other stops it wax like we'd never been riding in there. I guess they clean the interior during the whole time they're driving you around. I don't know if that's company policy or the drivers choice but their website says service to the xstreme...so I guess it's all part of the company policy. Very affordable & sleek rides. Benz, Lincoln, rolls. Nice selection. Only place I'll use ever again. read more

Went on a copper stills tour - Heaven Hill was really nice cool tasting room, Makers Mark grounds and tour was beautiful - we dipped our own bottles in the gift store. Booked an 8-hour, 8 passenger limo for a tour through bourbon country after a great conversation with their very helpful schedulers. They took time to understand what we wanted to do and help create the right itinerary for us. Our incredible driver Avella was not only a great driver, but she also provided awesome suggestions for things to eat and drink at each of our stops and genuinely cared about our experience. We should have went with Mint Julep Bourbon Tours in Louisville, KY as we had done so the previous two years but wanted to try another Bourbon Tour venue. We were looking forward to our "Old Fashion Group Tour" with Copper Stills; meeting others who also enjoy Bourbon and getting to see the distilleries, but when we arrived at the Brown Hotel to start the tour we were told that "only my wife and I were the ones scheduled for the 10 hour tour" to three distilleries and a stop for lunch. Really? This is their ad from their website - " Group Tours are experiences where you will be paired with others who are like minded. We craft itineraries to include varied tours and tastings to make for dynamic days. All tickets are paid for and we provide food, waters, sodas, ice and snacks throughout the day to complement the stops as well as themed music and entertainment. If this tour has fewer than 4 guest, it is subject to be canceled or combined with another group tour." They should have cancelled our tour or combined it with another tour; as per their own words "if there are less than 4 guests", which there were only the 2 of us. My wife and I spent 5 hours driving talking to get to Louisville, KY only to get on a bus (not a limo) for 10 hours with just each other, The driver - Larry was nice, but there was no music, entertainment or tour guide. Mint Julep has a Tour Guide, Driver and piped in music and a group of people to talk to who also enjoy bourbon and whiskey. Just the two of us in a large bus with a driver, no music for 10 hours...BORING....should have cancelled it or combined with another group; I contacted Cooper Stills Tour since and they have not responded back to me as to why they didn't cancel the tour or combine with another tour. Also for lunch we stopped at the Bardstown Bourbon Distillery, which was part of the tour and lunch; we were asked if we wanted our "Tasting Experience First before lunch or after". We choose to eat lunch first. As we were eating lunch our driver Larry came over and told us that we had to hurry up and eat, get the tasting experience and not to "dilly-dally" as we had to make to back to Louisville for our next Distillery Tour at Ole Forester Distillery. As we hurried up and ate, then a young lady from Bardstown Bourbon Distillery called us over to the tasting room. She never introduced herself and began to pour my Wife and myself one tasting of their new whiskey; didn't explain much of about the whiskey and then said "that's it". Never once mentioned what other whiskeys or spirits that were made by Bardstown Bourbon Company; she then left talking on her phone. Was this the Tasting Experience? Where? We then got on our Copper Stills bus and drove back to Louisville where "we sat for One Hour" for the Ole Forester Distillery Tour to begin. After the Ole Forester Tour our driver Larry brought us back to our hotel and that was it. Even though the driver -Larry-was very nice, overall it was a disappointing tour for the both of us; a tour we looked forward to, which was also our 20th Wedding Anniversary vacation. If we had to do it again, we will book with Mint Julep Tours as that was a must better and enjoyable experience. Mint Julep Tours are also in Nashville, TN which may be our next trip. read more

I entrusted this company with my 16-year old daughter who was traveling alone for the first time and whose Southwest flight to Louisville was delayed 6 hours and re-routed through St. Louis. As an upset mom, it's very difficult to choose a company, sight unseen, to transport your child from Louisville to Lexington (1.5 hours) late at night. This company's ability to listen to and address the needs of their customers is outstanding. We used R & R to go on Bourbon tours, the Casino in Indiana and dinner in downtown (pretty much drove all over Louisville for 13 hours) for a bachelor party, and it couldn't have been a better experience. The driver showed up EXACTLY when he was scheduled to, the van was immaculate, and our driver/host/tour guide Montana was excellent. He took us to a great restaurant for lunch, put up with a couple of sometimes obnoxious revelers, and overall enhanced our experience.
