Believe it or not, free falling at 120mph is a joyous experience. You have no concept of speed nor…read moredo you feel like you're plummeting to the earth. There's no ground rush. The feeling is BLISSFUL. This is free fall and all you can do is appreciate this minute in a state of pure joy. It's awesome!!! If there's anything skydiving does, it opens up your world and makes you consider the possibilities. Skydiving is so much more than an adventure. For many, it's a life-changing experience! So above was my experience, now coming to this establishment (Sky is the limit) As it was COVID time, they check your temperature, make you sign 10 pages waivers ( including COVID one), you pay the amount at their counter (which has no shade). Then you wait for your instructor to call your name and then you wear the gears. On their website and also when I called they said, the jump would be from 13000 feet height. I was under the impression it would be 40-50 seconds of free fall following by 4-5 minutes of para-gliding. Lots of people mentioned the same in the review as well. But sadly, it was not the case with me. Was I disappointed after landing? Yes, feeling of free fall, rushing to earth 120 Miles/hr, all is okay but it was ended in 3 minutes. Freefall was hardly 20-25 seconds and 3 minutes of paragliding. The weather was good, it was not windy or cloudy. I don't care they took me to 2 seater plane which took 30+ minutes to reach an altitude of 10000 feet. All I wanted was, what they claim or promise, my 50 secs of free fall and 4-5 min of gliding. I Paid 225+95 (Video) for this and the whole experience was very short. I feel like cheated. When I further researched, got to know, people who are Groupon customers, they get a service like this (short height jump- short time duration). My 2 star is only for a short duration of the whole experience. The service was good, my instructor was good. No issues in that. Coming to photos and videos, they were not satisfactory. 5/10 on that.

It breaks my heart seeing some of these unhappy reviews. I can't speak on their experiences but I…read morecan certainly speak on mine. Years ago, I came to this drop zone because not only was it closer than the other one I went to, but it was also a lot more professional and focused on the sport rather than the frat house culture you can find at other DZs. The folks at skydive Philly helped me learn a lot and aided in me getting my A license. I ended up having a baby and could no longer afford to jump and was also having personal issues that were hindering me from pursuing my passions (not because of my child ;) he's a blessing). I just came back to this DZ to show my son the planes and show him where I used to go for fun. Aaron (the guy who runs the business) was there and he remembered me after 6 years!! He was SO sweet to my son and me and it meant the world. He welcomed me back and gave me all the information and support I needed to get back into the sport if I desired. He was so encouraging and understanding. The staff here, even after all this time, remember their students and care for them. It made my day and I'm so sorry for anyone that can't see how great these people are. Please understand skydiving can be SUPER frustrating because it's all dependent on the weather and sometimes plans have to get canceled time and time again. Try not to get mad at the staff for having to cancel a jump.

Had a great time! Received a tandem skydive Groupon for Christmas gift from my girlfriend (who had…read moreno interest in going herself). We booked my skydive, and the first time had to cancel due to rain and lightning in the area. Staff was very gracious and apologetic, and I felt good that they were safety conscious and not looking to get the dive in anyway. We returned few weeks later, and in the meantime my girlfriend decided she wanted to do it too! We were paired with Mike and Oleg, who were absolutely great. They explained everything, made sure we were safe, and were very concerned with making sure we had fun (which we obviously did). Tyler was our pilot, and he was great too! I would definitely come back and jump again with these guys.

I found this skydiving company through Groupon and they had a special for a first time jump at…read more$140. Its a little deceiving that they add on a other charges once you book the group on. So you will have to pay a $60 surcharge for 'equipment rental' which is listed in the deal up front. The scheduling is done online, trying to call anyone for assistance can take forever and the reps are helpful depending on your luck for the call. We had a party of 5, and they could only accommodate pairs for the hour time slot. Not a big deal. So we tried to book the 5th person, and they would only allow us to book him 2 hours later, even though the next hour was available. They only allowed the next hour for full paying customers and not groupon customers. This ridiculous booking policy wasted a lot of time for us, so I am deducting a star for that and the manipulative surcharge. They will also send you a disclaimer the day of your jump. Which essentially asks you to sign away from your life, regardless of the negligence of the sky diving company. Why not send that sooner? Maybe cause you'll have time to think about what you are signing away and try to challenge the booking and possibly cancel. When you show up they may even ask you to hand over cash to the instructor, who is a contractor, so they can avoid potential liability as a company. Absolute nonsense to go through the day of. You wait quite a bit of time to jump. So our jump was scheduled for 10am, we didnt finish the dive till around 11:30-11:45am. Even though we booked our 5th friend at the 12:00pm slot, before anyone else according to the agents weeks before, he went in the last bath for that hour schedule which we felt was unfair. They knew we were waiting for the 5th person and asked for an earlier time for him to jump. They said they were packed with reservations before, but when it came to his 12 reservation, why wasn't he the first pair to go? Im sure the instructor had enough to think about with managing the videos, the divers, diving, folding up the chutes, etc. We showed up at 9:45am and left around 2-2:30pm after our friend landed. Now lets get to the important stuff. The instructors were good. One was Hungarian and the other was from Ukraine. Both very friendly, good at their job and you can tell they work hard. They have to drum up energy if your group is a little lame and soft spoken. Frankly my friends were, so our videos are full of kitchy pointless comments from one of the instructors to fill the silence. I If you buy the video/photo package, release no one is else is diving to take the pictures. Its done with a camera on the wrist of the instructor. So no video is uniform, and you are at the mercy of whatever was caught on tape. My video was missing the landing, other video has mainly the instructor and not really the diver. Not ideal, but not a big deal either. I strongly suggest buying the video if you are planning to buy one of the packages. You cant take gopros up with you. There is outdoor parking for your car with no real coverage. So crack your window a bit, my car interior hit 134F in the sun. When you park your car its a little hard to find where the diving area is, but proceed right to the hull of the airplane. So walk towards the entrance to the little airport and walk up the wooden stairs and when you see the rest rooms bang a right. We enjoyed ourselves, and this company provided the experience we were expecting for the most part. If you love BBQ, they actually have a great place in the tiny airport itself which is a hidden gem.

We each got two flights with an instructor, one flight lasting about 60 or 90 seconds. We opted to add the "high flight" for $20 more- that's when the instructor takes you to the top of the tube, very, very high up. We enjoyed every moment, from being suited up, to learning about proper positions, to balancing in the air, to the HIGHHH flight. Our instructor was so friendly and engaging and made this the best experience for my husband's special day. This is a little bit of a pricy experience, but not too outrageous to try once in a lifetime! Also, check online for deals and discounts. They're always posting some discounts for various holidays.

Be mindful there is a weight limit for the experience ( 260lb +) so check before booking. They make you weight in before giving you a wristband to proceed upstairs. There's a small section upstairs to host private parties , picture backdrop , and lockers to put you personal items ( they aren't too big so don't bring anything oversized ) they do ask that you lock up your phones before entering the chamber to fly. Orientation was detailed . our Instructor Rashad was high energy, personable and skilled. All in all this was an interesting activity for a date night We ended up feeling sore right after and even the next day. So keep this in mind and answer the pre-orientation documents honestly if you have any pre -existing injuries or illness- as to not make those things worse.
