What a thrill. Just got home and have been bouncing off the walls (figuratively) since 3 PM, when I did my 8 laps at Pocono Raceway for Father's Day. What a ride! We arrived for the 1:30 session. You do a 30 minute classroom introduction, which teaches you about the track, the turns, the flagger's signals, the turn in points, and all necessary procedures. The instructor knew his stuff, answered questions well, was personable, yet made it clear that we were undertaking a potentially risky activity, and that we must know what we are doing. Next, we walked to the garages, where we looked at one of the cars and got a crash course on all the safety gear, the tach, entry/exit, and driving procedures. Off to the vans, where we were given a tour of the track once the previous session's cars were clear. Even at just 65 MPH, the track is certainly not smooth, yet we learned passing procedures (only if told to do so), entry points, exit points, apexes, and the three different turns. Once off the vans, we suited up, grabbed a helmet, and waited on pit road. Some chose to do the "ride along" first, to get a feel for the track,while most just waited their turn. Drivers were assigned cars based on their hight, as the seats are not adjustable...so when a car that fit you was available, it was your turn! Pictures in front of the car were taken, and then last minute instructions were given before you were strapped in and given permission to roll off. Directions were clear, simple, and necessary. Basically, one instructor drives the 'pace car", while two students follow...so you are in a group of three, playing "follow the leader". No passing, no side-by side action, no seeing who can out-brake the other. It's very simple. The instructor picks up the pace each lap, provided that drivers are hitting their marks and keeping pace with him. If the middle car is slower, the flagman will tell him to move over and let the third car past, so that he is not hindered...and if necessary, another instructor will come out to "pace" the slower car. So what's it like? Incredible. Viceral...had to be there! Unexplainable. The sound inside the car as you work through the 4 gears leaving pit lane is amazing, and once on the track, you just trust this crazy beast will go where you point it, because your logical brain tells you that the car won't handle that well...yet it does. Putting the hammer down on the 600 horses on the front straight and hearing the RPM's scream as you finally get off the gas into turn 1 is incredible. Again, viceral...the sounds, the rattles, the g-forces pulling you to the right...all of your senses on hyperdrive...it goes by too quickly. Once the 8 laps were over, we decelerated and coasted into pit lane, where the car was shut down, the tach checked to see the max RPM (which was 8,000 for me...translates to 160 MPH) and fire suits, etc returned. I can't express how cool this was, especially for someone who enjoys any motorsports, especially nascar. The only drawback is that being the third car in our group- which I was- puts you at the mercy of the second car...for if he doesn't petal fast enough, you may lose out on the opportunity to go faster overall. I was a bit impeeded, but I'm still happy to get to 160! You must be able to drive a standard/manual tranny, have a driver's liscense, and wear sneakers and gloves. Cost for the 8 lap/20 mile run was $499 Monday or Wednesday, or $559 weekend/holiday. Photos were one for $25, two for $50, or three for $55. Costly? Heck ya. Worth every cent? Today, yes. Be back? Definately, some day...at this price, it's worth it, but is definately cost-prohibitative. In all, an experience I will rave about for quite some time! read more

Horrible experience from start to finish. The entire event was completely rained out I wasn't able to enjoy anything I paid for. I understand weather is unpredictable, but what made this situation far worse was the appalling customer service I received when I reached out to discuss a refund or even a simple reschedule. I do not live in the area and was trying to be reasonable in asking for some type of accommodation since I wasn't able to experience what I paid for. Ian, however, treated me with the most disrespectful, rude, and dismissive attitude imaginable. From the second I brought up the issue, he acted as if I was inconveniencing him by even asking a question. He refused to work with me in any way. no understanding, no willingness to discuss options, nothing. His tone was completely unprofessional and frankly condescending. It was made very clear that getting a refund was "not going to happen," as he put it, with absolutely zero empathy or customer care. I've never been treated so poorly when simply trying to get a fair resolution. To take people's money for an event that was rained out and then treat them with such blatant disrespect when they seek help is completely unacceptable. I will absolutely never recommend this experience to anyone and would strongly advise others to avoid it. Customer service should never make a bad situation worse but Ian certainly did. read more

We had a very bad experience with the company. In error we booked the experience on 8/21/2025 for 9/19/2025, the issue was that it went in as 8/22/2025 which we were not in the state for, it should have been for 9/19/2025. We paid $2,500 in total for 2 people along with the extras. When we returned from vacation. we realized the error on the date. We called them yesterday and again today to discuss the error in booking. They will only rebook us for 9/19/2025 if we pay an additional $1,100 (booking fee), which is their policy. There is no comprise. We spoke to Ian (owner of the company) today and he said that is the only thing they can do. If we don't rebook, then we lose the entire money. They wouldn't even consider doing the 50% of the $1100 rebooking fee. We understand their policy, but they need to allow for exceptions. They don't allow for human error or any other issue such as an emergency situation. I did ask if I had passed and my girlfriend asked for the money back due to a death, they said they wouldn't give any of the money back. It's extremely disappointing, because we did the experience last year and it was an awesome experience. Their policy needs to be revised or at least they could do is work with us. Keep in mind that you MUST show up or you lose all your money or pay more to rebook. That's absolutely crazy!!!! read more

I bought this as a gift for someone. It got cancelled 2 days before due to poor weather (completely understandable). What's not understandable is that when I called and emailed(Stef) to try and get a refund ($655) I was told it was "completely impossible" because I had already "booked it for a specific date". Which really shouldn't matter at this point because that "specific date" was cancelled. I was told the only solution to this problem was to book a new date for 2024...? This to me is a completely unrealistic and unreasonable solution to a problem. So much can happen in a year and that's not to say that next year when I book it again, that date might also get cancelled due to poor weather. Talked to Ian (the owner) and was told I "gambled my money away". Not really something you wanna hear from someone when buying from their company that cost $655. Ian was probably the most unprofessional, cocky person I talked to out of everyone. Again not something you want when talking to the OWNER of a business. Before spending your money here, l would definitely consider whether or not you are alright with not getting what you paid for that day, that year or even years from now. read more

Phenomenal experience, hard to even describe in words! My wife bought me the 10-mile drive for last christmas and boy do I owe her one now! I added on the ride before I drove and felt that really helped for my drive in knowing what it felt like first. Everyone involved was very professional and helpful, can't thank you all enough. We had an amazing time! The staff was very nice and helpful. We did the Jim Thorpe route with a rented slingshot. They have plenty of places to stop including a lake that you can swim in. We didn't go in because we didn't bring bathing suits and only rented the slingshot for 4 hours. Would definitely do it again and reasonably priced. read more

Rip offs run buy an arrogant owner. I had a race scheduled that got rained out. Fine not their fault. I rescheduled. Then people in my group got covid the next date. Not our fault. I called them multiple times with no answer or return phone call. So I then email them letting them know I am unable to reach anyone to reschedule. I get a response back from the owner Ian we will call you back which they never did. I proceed to call and spoke to a woman. Stupid me didn't remember her name. I explained what transpired per the woman I need to call back when I am ready for a new date. I call back to schedule the date they then proceed to tell me I should have paid $300 to reschedule when i spoke to the woman, which the woman never mentioned. Since I didn't pay the $300 at the time of speaking to the woman it is now $800 to reschedule. After calling the owner trying to get a resolution, he said in not so many words to bad, pay $800 or lose all your money. His people never would have said to just call back to reschedule. I then tell him to play back the call recording. Which he then like an uneducated moron said is against the PA wire tap laws. Which if he had a brain would know you can record calls to a business, as long as there is a recording letting the caller know. I assume he refuses to record calls so his potential customer can't call BS on their story. I would be very wary doing business with this scumbag. If he treats all his customers like that, I can't belive he remains in business. Stay far away and find a other track. This guy don't deserve a damn dollar from anyone. read more

I had such a fantastic time!!!! My driver's name was Sean and he rocked!! The track was huge; the best part was turn one because you are going super fast and think "how does the car not flip" but it hugs the road so well, just like being in a professional race! I could have ridden in the car all day - oh to be a race car driver..... Everyone at the place was so friendly too - I can't wait to go back!!!! read more

At 72, I wasn't sure I'd be up to doing this but everyone was patient and friendly and made it so enjoyable. When it was over I was ready to go again. I took the 3 lap ride along, then the 10 mile ride. I had no trouble keeping up with the lead car because the instruction was very thorough and he explained just what to do. The experience is a sham!!! All they seem to care about is getting your money. I purchased a stock car racing experience back in February 2020 for my wife. And in August she booked her date some time in September. When she woke up that morning she wasn't feeling well so I called the stock car racing experience number 3.5 hours in advance of her start time to let them know that we were not going to make it and we need to reschedule. The rep from the company said I needed a doctors note after shelling out $750+ dollars for the experience. As if we are still in elementary school or something. Give me a f-ing break! You should be thanking & refunding me for not exposing your staff to whatever she might have during this Covid-19 time. read more

Well, where do I start!!!!! IT WAS GREAT! From the start, the staff was great and helpful. Especially on safety. My wife and I did the 3 lap ride along ( highly recommend this ) prior to the 20 mile run. It was extremely help full. The driver shows you where and when to let up on the gas going into the turns, when to accelerate and what the car can do at top speed. I would give the driver several stars. The business itself I WISH I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS FOR THE RIPOFF THAT IT IS......The driver Petey, and the experience itself was amazing. The place itself is completely unprofessional and in NO WAY ACCOMMODATING. My gf and I were going for two ride along experiences in September. THE NEW JERSEY STATE POLICE SHUT DOWN ROUTE 78 which became a literal parking lot (because it was thought that a State Trooper's car had been shot at). What should've been a 2 hour drive turned into a 3-1/2 hr drive and we hadn't even reached the 1/2way point. We tried to do our due diligence, we called and emailed for almost an hour with no response not knowing that if we ,having missed our appointment, would simply have to turn around and go home. With absolutely no response for an hour in which would easily become a 5-1/2-6 hr drive that should be 2 hrs we turn around. Nearly home we get a call. TELLING US TO TAKE A DIFFERENT ROUTE YET THE WEBSITE SAYS THERE IS NO GPS ADDRESS TO PLUG IN. THEY SAY THEY WILL CHARGE US AN ADDITIONAL $35 FOR HAVING MISSED THE APPOINTMENT. OK. fine. We didn't make it ,even though it was COMPLETELY out of our control, TURNS OUT THEY RIPPED US OFF AND CHARGED US $35 PER PERSON WHICH WAS NOT SAID OVER THE PHONE. WE HAD TO PAY AN EXTRA $70 to go through an experience which we had already payed for, couldn't make AND THE REASON WE COULDNT MAKE IT WAS COMPLETELY OUT OF OUR CONTROL!! GREEDY. StockCar Racing Experience at the Pocono Raceway. My wife booked a ride along experience for both of us which we looked forward to excitedly. We arrived on Sat Aug 3rd at about 1 pm for our 1:30 appointment. The issue was that we paid for a 3 lap ride along experience for each of us meaning that you get to complete 3 full laps and return to the pits. My wife was in front in car number 8 and my driver lined up behind her. We started out at the same time and my driver followed her for 2 laps and at the end of the second lap my wife's driver pulled into the pits and did not do the third lap. My driver passed her and completed the last lap. After we had left the track, I asked my wife why she only did two laps. She said she was very disappointed but when she asked the driver he explained, the first turn counts as a lap. I called to complain and spoke with the general manager, Steven. He didn't believe me and said that this simply does not happen. I told the manager that this may sound unusual, but this is in fact what happened and that my friends who had come to take pictures could verify my story a well as show pictures of her car pulling into the pits before mine. I also asked the manager to question his drivers because the driver might remember it since my wife had made an issue of. Steve, the manager, said he had seven drivers that day and would not question them even though I gave him the time and car number. He also suggested that we didn't know now to count laps. At the end of the conversation he said he would not refund any part of what we paid (I had asked him for 1/3 of one of the rides refunded). He did offer us the employee discount of 25% off a future ride which made no sense for us since we had driven 2.5 hours just to get there the first time. The ride itself was fun if you've not been in a stockcar before but I'll let you decide if it's worth the money at about $139 for 3 laps. read more

First words out of my mouth when I was done driving the 600 hp beast around the Pocono Raceway tri-oval: "Wow!" What an awesome time!. My kids bought it for me for Christmas and I have spent the winter dreaming of today. When our 8am session was cancelled due to rain, and then the 9:30 and 11 sessions were cancelled too, i thought that today just wasn't our day. But we stuck it out and I was lucky to get into the 12:30 class. And I'll tell you, Joel did a terrific job in the classroom and in the van...he has the perfect temperament for that gig. I added the ride along at the last minute and was so glad I did. Chris explained everything to me in the car and I got a great sense of what to expect when I got behind the wheel myself. David at trackside also was great in getting me comfortable and very patient in explaining the inside of the car. And then we were off....the 10 miles went by in a blur.
