This school is so unorganized and unprofessional. They let my son enroll in kindergarten even…read morethough he missed state deadline by 23 days...let him go to school for over a week. I bought school uniforms and supplies. On his 5th birthday I took cupcakes in for the class and the next day they pulled made me come pick him back up after I just dropped him off. Not to mention a couple days before that a little girl picked my son up at recess and dropped him on the back of his head on concrete. The nurse mispronounced his name when she called me and somewhat laughed about Him getting hurt. The principal would not make an exception or let me do an appeal knowing my son is mature and smart enough to be in the kindergarten class. I could see if he was a trouble child but he is well behaved and smart.

Our preschooler had a short and unsuccessful period there, culminating in an unexpected request for us to leave with only a week's notice. This not only felt like a waste of time and resources but also made it challenging to find alternative care in the middle of the school year. Unfortunately, my child now experiences anxiety when entering any school setting, which is a significant concern. Additionally, I was disappointed to learn that deposits and school materials are non-refundable due to their "standard process." I also noticed that there were no requirements or assessments for the cohort my child was in, which raised concerns about the overall standards. The protocol and procedures for student removal are vague, almost nonexistent, creating mismatched expectations for us. We also felt that the school lacks diversity, as it seems to favor a specific type of student while not adequately addressing the emotional needs of the kids. Despite these challenges, I would recommend this school to parents of typical, average smart kids who are prepared to engage in the learning process. Parents should also be prepared for year-long donation requests via email, text, and automated phone calls, plus in average one week no school per school month. Overall, we're relieved to have moved on from this experience.

My attempts to address my concerns through the appropriate channels, I was dismissed rather than supported, and the situation escalated instead of being resolved constructively. What was most troubling was that, while advocating for my child, law enforcement was called on me by Wayne Morosco rather than the school working collaboratively to address the concerns I raised. As a parent, I expected open communication, fairness, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of students. CCS should reflect values such as compassion, integrity, respect, and justice. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect those principles. I hope the school takes steps to improve how it handles parent concerns, student advocacy, and allegations of unfair treatment so that other families do not have a similar experience
