History

Established in 1950.

Jack Pellatt owned a grocery store in Montreal's Plateau area, where he sold fresh fruit. Having access to the produce made it easy for him to offer fruit baskets as gifts for Christmas, get-well gifts and funerals. Many years later, his daughter-in-law Joy, decided to expand the offerings. She designed gifts baskets with non-perishable food items (tea, wine, chocolates, cheese and cookies), took some photos and sold door to door. Joy 's goal was to offer these gift baskets as corporate gifts for Christmas.... and the rest is history!
