10/23/25 Great Stay at Pendleton KOA We had another wonderful stay at the Pendleton KOA! This is our second time within a week. The campground was clean, quiet, and very well maintained. Our pull through site was level and easy to access, with nice spacing and a comfortable setup. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the park had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, It's a beautiful and convenient spot -- and is conveniently located to local shops. We will definitely stay here again when passing through Pendleton! read more

This KOA let us down. It's the place you stay when there's no other. The bathrooms were dirty when needed to take a shower. The rv parking is tight with a little patch of grass that has a picnic table on it. There are a lot of regulars, one of which was working outside late at night when there should be a 10 pm quiet time. There aren't many pull throughs at this site. I'll leave on a positive note that the gentleman taking us to our site helped us back in our 43' fifth-wheel. There is a slab in front of the picnic table to park your truck. read more

This is a giant lot... so like Walmart with hookups. Very VERY close together They say they are pet friendly, yet no GRASS anywhere and staff not friendly towards your furry friend Took my dog to the only patch in the park and one staffer actually said they didn't want the dog to pee on it! read more

We decided to break up our road trip from Hillsboro to McCall Idaho and stopped here for a night. Easy to find our name and site since office was closed. The internet and password didn't work for us but luckily we could hot spot to watch a movie with my son. Perfect location to break up our drive to McCall Idaho from Hillsboro. Friendly customer service when I called earlier. We will definitely stay anytime we drive to boise or McCall and don't want to do a straight shot. read more

Would rate a high 3- but not quite a 4. We stayed overnight just one night. Bathrooms were fantastic- super clean and convenient. Playground small and outdated- our 8 year old couldn't really play, for sure geared for tots. It's a small park and convenient off the highway. The view is blocked by full timers- and this is mainly a full time park. No grass in dog park but they have one! Tight spots! Staff interactions were limited but fine. read more

Called from the road and gave the lady who answered my information and rv info. When I checked in she put us in a short spot with other travel trailers and 30 amp service. My rv is a 35 ft 5th wheel with 50 amp service. Very inconvenience because I had reset the breaker twice. I watched other 5th wheels come in smaller in the 50 amp spots. I highly recommend you go to the casino rv park at the same exit. Wish them well and hope they do a better job placing rv in the correct sized space. read more

Clean sites with flat paved pads. I called and got a view spot last minute and felt safe and slept well. The view was worth the extra space and expansive feeling. It rained all night and was very windy so I was super thankful for the location. read more

I decided to stay at a KOA in Pendleton, because I thought it would be a clean & safe spot for tent camping. I was the only tent camper. Be aware that their tent camping spots are minimal and you've got the apartment buildings behind the property looking down at you. And the cars driving in looking straight at you. I decided to put my tent over at site number one simply because it seemed a little more private being off to the side. I was charged $48! I won't be going back, nor would I recommend it. read more

This was the first stop on our long road trip, we arrived late in the evening. They had our site info at the late night checkin area which was nice. Easy in and out one night stay, we didn't get to talk to anyone so I can't comment on customer service. They texted me the WiFi info AFTER we left which was a bit odd but it was also located on the map upon check in so it didn't hinder our stay. The view was stunning and the sunsets are amazing! I would recommend to others who need a place to hook up their rigs for a night as they pass through town. Close to gas and Starbucks- 9/10 stars. read more

It's been our experience that practically every RV campground is built near busy highways, airports and/or train tracks. This was no exception. The difference in this case was the lack of highway noise during the week and weekend both! The view sites are overlooking a very scenic valley-and you an sit at the site table/chair set up with a fire pit and bbq waiting for you beneath your trees. One of the very best we've visited anywhere. Very friendly and helpful staff made it all the better. As a plus, the town of Pendleton is famous for the blankets etc. made back in the day with other historical sights and some great little restaurants (or brew pubs if you're so inclined) within a 5 minute city street drive. The spaces are well set up check in was easy-peasy and parking our 37' 5th wheel was a 1 shot deal. Highly recommend! read more

Really nice facility at a great price. Some of the high points: clean, warm bathroom/ shower facility with a laundry. Pad space for an RV and also our toad (Prius) Close to historic downtown Pendleton, Campground itself is located on a vista of rolling hills, perfect for plein air painters, like myself Very accommodating staff; Travis, one of the managers gave us all sorts of tips about the area and even our rig's mechanics. Btw the gas stations( Sinclair) located there had the cheapest fuel on interstate 84 to pdx. read more

We had a beautiful site at this KOA. It could not have been better and I'm thinking we were just lucky. Some sites are back-in, some large and some small. It appeared some people might be long-time residents but not sure about that. Mostly the park was very, very nice. We had a long pull-thru site with grass and a level drive. It was perfect and we even had an open sky for our satellite receiver. We were just across from the dog park which made it even better for our dog. The people in the office were super nice. One downsize to KOA parks is the price but we would definitely chose this park if traveling through the area again. read more

The only positive is that friendly people run the office. This campground looks like our RV storage lot with a few trees.

I called 10 months in advance to request an RV spot for the Pendleton Roundup. I was told that they would "look at the list in March 2019" and give us a call. They stated they had "100 sites and we were #80 so it should not be a problem." My Mom called after me and she was told the same thing, not a problem you're #81. It's now March, we called and were told there are only 40 spots and you are #80 & #81 so not likely. I'd like to say THANKS to this KOA campground!! We did not reserve at another place because of the response when I called. NOW we are told that we were given the wrong information.... read more

Very disappointed! Called in Early March to make reservations for the Pendleton Round Up, was told that my name would be put on a list and owner/manager would be assigning RV spots in a month or two. Call in early July and was told that more than likely I would not be getting a RV spot. Call many other hotels and RV parks only to find out that there is nothing available since the Round-up was less that 2 months out. Lesson learned - make sure you pay a deposit and confirmed reservation. read more

We stayed one night here in our RV on the way to Portland. When we arrived, we were greeted by a cork board with a paper showing us our slot number, a phone number was listed if we needed anything; however, the available hours were only 10-4 (not reasonable for those traveling). The spaces were so narrow we almost could not open both our slide-outs. We received our email confirming our reservation after we left, it should have been sent before arrival. People were friendly and the scenery was amazing. But if you want more than that, it isn't here. It was like camping in a parking lot, literally. It was a small space to park your rv. Tiny playground for the kids and that was it. If it wasn't for water and electric, I could have had the same experience at a Walmart. Also, you're not allowed campfires. We learned this about 40 min after we built ours and one of the workers, who later told us it was not allowed, watched us build it. If you have any other choice, choose it. read more

Decent park, not quite as nice as some of the KOAs, but it will do. It seems like this was a RV park first, and then became a KOA, so there aren't as many of the fun things like a jumping pillow or Kamping Kabins like most of the KOAs we've been to. The spaces are nice and long, level and the views are great. We stopped here for one night on our way to Portland. Camped in a motorhome. We'd go back. read more

Very nice clean little park. If the "live ins" were moved off the southwest line, it would be an amazing park with a great sunset view. Sadly near all the view sites have stationary units including some park models. I am not a fan of permanent units taking the best sites. I suppose it's fine if they don't want to leave the "attraction" for people who may come back. Won't keep me from coming back, but certainly won't put it on a must stay list. read more

Good enough, showers and bathrooms very clean, little store is pretty well stocked, lots of other stores around too. We were on our motorcycle and our tent site was about 30 feet from an apartment building, good thing no one lived there yet. No fire pits in sites but for a stop over it was fine and was close to downtown. read more

We camped here in our small smaller travel trailer. Overall it was good. The place was clean and decent and the space was plenty big for our 26' trailer. The restrooms were great and spacious and a nice touch when the the RV shower is small. The cable tv was ok and the wifi was typical of most RV parks (spotty at best). Van camped in the tent section. Site T3 was most secluded and I'd say the nicest spot. Small fence sections between sites provided some measure of privacy, but still as with most KOA type campgrounds you are very close to neighbors, luckily I had none. Showers clean and warm. Other campers were friendly and quiet. There is s 2 story apartment building adjacent, leaving one further exposed with little privacy. Woman with short gray hair who checked me in was a bit surly and just all business. She almost seemed annoyed that her colleague, a nice young man with short brown hair, was giving me helpful suggestions on which site to choose as well as some recommended waterfalls to see (which turned out to be awesome!). Would be better to let the outgoing young man work with the public and put the sour puss in the back office. The genius architects and city planners responsible for the huge bright yellow monstrosity of a building (a school?) in the valley below, where you can see expansive views of the sunrise from the campsite, need to be publicly shamed and forced to see this hideous yellow turd from their front windows every day. Seriously- award winning architectural epic fail. Overall a good stay and would stay again if I were up for KOA style car camping. read more

We arrived at Pendleton KOA to visit family after being on the road for 24 hours, with a 3yr old who was tired of his car seat. The park is full of what appears to be mostly residents who are probably retired. Most of the people who we saw sitting around their sites appeared grumpy and unwelcoming. We weren't there longer than maybe three hours when we had a knock on our door. Apparently the residents didn't appreciate our "noise" and complained to management that we were screaming. The person at our door asked, "We aren't going to have a problem, are we?" HOW RUDE! The screaming was our three year old who was tired, had been on the road with us since the day before, and doesn't yet understand patience. When we come back through Pendleton on our way home, we will be staying at a nicer RV park down the road. We won't stay here again and we will tell everyone not to stay here. Not only will they never have our business again, but our family who lives here in Pendleton will help get the word out about the rude and unwelcoming stay we had at Pendleton KOA. read more

Rigs are very close together without much privacy. Park is clean, but no dog area. There is an unfenced field where we were able to exercised our dogs. read more

Nice RV park. We stayed for 6 nights in July in a nice back-in site near the front of the park. Beautiful views of the surrounding area from our site. Great, fenced dog park with benches and a pretty view. Friendly staff. Good WiFI and breakfast on Sunday morning. We would stay here again. read more

Good value for an overnight tent site. Site T3 is tucked in a corner, with a great. Ire of the valley. Very nice reception staff.

Nice little stop over but major wait at 6 am as cleaning the restrooms wanted to get on the road early but had to wait and wait ......not good maybe do that later in the day !!!! read more

Showers and bathrooms exceptionally clean and well maintained, as is the park in general. Each site has a paved parking area and picnic table. Most have grass. We stayed here a month last year visiting relatives in the area and were happy enough to return for another month this year. This park lacks some amenities of other KOAs. WiFi could be faster. A majority of the park residents were longer term residents, so the park lacked some camper conviviality. The park was well managed, and the longer term residents were never any problem. Overall a better value than most KOAs read more

Narrow level sites, construction workers mixed in with families, no pool, no playground, no greenspace. This should not be a KOA.
