In July we were in Phoenix for a wedding and stayed at an Embassy Suites (4 nights) that would only provide new towels and clean upon request. We didn't try to breakfast so I can't comment on that. Anyway, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. And that is the number one thing I want in a hotel.

(See two of the photos) She offered us a room on the second floor, but there is no elevator. (Our knees wouldn't handle that) She then said there was one on the first floor we could have. The second room seemed great at first glance, but trouble was waiting. When it was time to brush our teeth, we realized the bathroom sink doesn't drain. Thankfully there is a second sink outside of that room that works. Then we turned back the bed and found red candy stuck to the sheets. There was more candy on the floor near the night stand, so we took a closer look and cleaned up the disgusting stuff that's in one of the photos. We got fresh sheets from the desk and changed the bed ourselves! Sorry, not tipping the maid service this time! These rooms are NOT BEING CLEANED!!!!!! They should be offering us something for compensation. We're sort of afraid to eat breakfast in the morning... what does that prep area look like? It's late and we feel stuck here. We stayed here once before on our cross-country trip, several years ago, and there were no issues at all. There is a pretty view to the south, if you enjoy things like that. We felt confident in booking a room here from our past experience. Wow. Things have really gone downhill.

Blankets and pillows comfortable and the staff went over and above with true hospitality! The real gem here is the restaurant/lounge! Chef Mike is amazing, his food was to die for, and I cannot believe how reasonably priced everything was! We had cocktails and dinner after a long drive and his food is the chef's kiss! I had the fried chicken special and my husband the burger dip. The special could have fed us both easily!! Both were amazing quality and taste, not to mention we could have both shared the special and still had leftovers!

Front desk staff are available to help visitors locate a great place to eat, or remind them that many options aren't available on Mondays in Pendleton. The hotel parking is plentiful, with plenty of space for any oversized vehicles or trailers.

Never stayed at a place where condoms were an amenity. Be very careful using the Victorian pin shower although a novel experience, it can be painful.

"Services" are limited, however, the hotel does have a suite + 4 other sleeping rooms that are all uniquely decorated in a very Old West-meets-true-Victorian style. The building itself is quite stunning, with hardwood floors, soaring ceilings, and exposed brick. It's old, though, so be prepared to hear a lot of traffic noise, particularly if you're sleeping in one of the rooms on the NW side. The one time I stayed here was with a large group, and we took over the whole place. If you're planning a visit here, that's the approach I would recommend. There are a lot of common areas, and it would be a shame to not take advantage of them. There is a shared kitchen, a large living room and a separate dining area. Bathrooms are also shared (except in the suite), but are HUGE. The guest house is in a prime location in the historic district; close to all of P-town's night life, coffee shops, and services. Kids and pets are disallowed, because of the antiques and the layout. Plus, who wants to explain a bordello to the kiddies? Especially since this one was apparently operational until "more recently than you'd think..." A very cool piece of Oregon's history, though, and certainly prime real estate if you can get the house over the week of the Round-up.

I…read moreusually write stellar reviews and it take a lot for me to write a negative one because I wish I didn't have to and instead resolve a challenge directly with a business if a situation arises I have stayed here many times throughout the years as a halfway point during our travels and have never had a problem. We stayed here last weekend, along with many other firefighters who were in the area battling a local wildfire. After our stay, a $109 charge appeared on our card, so I called to find out why. They emailed me the pictures below and said the charge was for "soiled" linens. We had been out helping a friend who needed to evacuate because of the fire, so yes, we had some dust on us. But this was not excessive dirt. I don't wear makeup, and these marks were not wine, blood, ink, or anything similar. When I called back after seeing the pictures, the woman at the front desk, Karen, continually talked over me when I was trying to have a civil conversation. When I requested she not talk over me she continue to say multiple times that the change would not be reversed. My compliant isn't so much about the changes amount but how this was micro management and lack of quality customer service. Keep in mind, these pictures were taken before the linens were even washed. When I asked whether they had pictures showing that these light marks did not come clean after washing, they did not. Hmmm I also requested that the actual linens shown in the pictures be sent to us, since a $109 charge is more than enough to replace the items, not simply clean them. I asked multiple times, and I was repeatedly talked over instead of being given an answer. This entire experience was incredibly disappointing, especially considering we have stayed here many times without issue. Clearly, we will not be staying here again. I sincerely hope that all of the firefighters who are risking their lives to protect people, homes, land, and property during these fires are not being treated this way by this business

This visit, we've noted maintenance is a bit lacking. We had site 65 and it was challenging to level our RV. The picnic table was gross and there were cigarette butts in the grass. We cleaned up (you're welcome). We've never had to clean our RV site before - they have always been usable upon arrival. While walking around the park I noticed bits of debris scattered around and dog deposits. The folks that work in the office are kind and happy to share information with visitors.
