I got married there a little over six months ago and it has taken me this long to be able to relive this experience by witting a review but people need to know this information. After spending well over $12,000 for supposedly the weekend of a lifetime I'm still haunted with terrible memories. I'm not high maintenance and require crazy high customer service but I do expect my family and myself to be treated with respect. The morning of the wedding my mom locked herself out of her bedroom after a shower. Stupid accident yes, but the way it was handled was downright atrocious. Long story short my mom and I ended up in tears. You'd think a venue of that 'caliber' would have an extra set of master keys right? Wrong. A locksmith was called out and the cost we were told would be taken out of my deposit. After the big ordeal and we were let back into the room with very little time before the wedding, everything went off without a hitch and my husband and I were happily married. When booking the venue it states in the contract that all music is to be off and guests gone by 10pm. What they fail to inform you is that the owners will show up at about 8pm and stand around hovering in the corners breaking down any tables or chairs that we not being used. The table linens that I purchased and brought in were also being stripped off the tables and thrown into garbage bags without any permission. There was complete and utter disregard for the event still taking place. This venue is also very meticulous about clean up. Understandably so at the time knowing how beautiful the venue was. Sadly I regret everything about this venue because although clean up was planned I have yet to meet another bride who spend the morning after her wedding sweeping a 2400 square foot barn with a push broom. I have been working in the wedding business for three years now and although still very new with a lot to learn I will never ever recommend this venue to a single one of my brides. My husband and I are going to Vegas in a week and plan to have a 're do' wedding and get married by Elvis for redemption.

Not cheap or a huge portion but worth every penny. Probably the most delicious use of saffron in a dish I've ever experienced, and although it was a little pricy for the serving size, it was worth every penny. Not usually a huge fan of mussels, but whatever magic they worked within their huge vat of broth turned them into something I couldn't get enough of. Each guest would grab a plate and either corn or flour tortillas and place them into disposable taco "holders". Then proceed to fill the soft shells and add side dishes of your choice. This is what WE decided. Josh does what YOU want. We decided to purchase several fruits and the Costco cake and pick those up ourselves. We could have had Josh do these things also. We provided serving dishes-both heated and unheated. We did not have everything needed so Josh filled-in with the rest. Based upon our decisions on HOW MUCH we wanted Josh to do, he gave us his PRICE - to add to foods he purchases based upon OUR preferences. We agreed! On the day of the 5:30 party, he showed-up at 2:45 and after bringing-in all his equipment and food, he became our personal CHEF. He cooked, sliced and diced so that ALL WAS READY for the 5:30 party! For the next 3 hours Josh ensured everyone had a full drink glass, full plate, cut-up the cake and served, and finally prepared "take-away" containers for all who wanted stuff. Makenzy was warm and bubbly as soon as she met us on the boardwalk and began talking to us like we were old friends. It made both my husband and me very comfortable, which definitely showed in our photos! Makenzy was never pushy and wasn't really into staging photos. She sits back and waits for the perfect, natural moment. It's incredible to look at our engagement photos and see how they showcase the love between my husband and me. Created the VA Hospital & M.A.S.H. in WW1. 3rd in scholarships after the US government & the pre-cursor to the GI Bill. Great event rental space for weddings, parties, . It has a dance floor & stage. RV park for Elks only. This is a members only lodge & their guests. WA state Private Club liquor license doesn't allow for liquor sales to non-members unless accompanied by a member. Outside rentals to non-members don't allow liquor sales, just service of alcohol provided by renter + banquet permit.
