Their so-called STEM program is a wimpy joke; their degrees are…read moreweak and not respected by other colleges and post-graduate programs and their research opportunities are gilded in gold spray paint. Their financial aid is good, if you are an incredibly high-achieving student who should be going just about anywhere else but their campus. SU uses the pretty idea of financial aid to lure you in. Coming here means wasting time and talent. I feel that Reddit- I hate Reddit- has educated individuals more effectively. Four years in federal prison would look nicer on a resume for anyone planning to enter a science or science-adjacent field of work. STEM is not the end of it. Susquehanna University is responsible for some of the most under-prepared, lack-luster, and apathetic educators I have ever learned under or worked with. Only tour here if you want average food and to be discouraged from ever attending an institute of higher learning.

This place is a joke; I truly believe that Reddit offers a better education in any of the STEM subjects they -allegedly- offer. Their teaching program, which I understand is very popular, has produced some of the most lack-luster, sub-par, and under-performing educators and student teachers I have ever had to learn under or work with. I have nothing against Liberal Arts colleges; I think they are a wonderful thing when done correctly. I will not argue that their campus is nice, but there are even nicer collegiate campuses a stone's throw away that offer inifnitely more beneficial oppurtunities, internships, and majors. Furthermore, their admissions office is like a pesky drunk who does not possess the rudimentary mental capacity for comprehending basic phrases like 'no' and 'I'm not interested'; they hound potential applicants relentlessly. I know this is normal for some colleges, but all other incidents of this I have encountered have ended shortly after I spoke up about my discomfort. This has not been the case with this self-proclaimed 'institute of learning'. Truly one of the greatest wastes of time and money; federal prison would be a bettter way to spend one's time.

The cost was exactly what we had decided on before I drove down from western New York. I also bought snap caps and ammo; this was a 16 ga. shotgun. Christa and the excellent shooting coach Danny were both very helpful, totally professional. Danny also evaluated a very beat-on Darne shotgun in 16 ga. I owned. They also suggested a very solid local man to open the chokes on the shotgun I had just purchased. I wish I had the time to take a shooting course there; it's a lovely rural setting.

In 12 successive emails on 2 Bernadelli shotguns, specifically one with the item number ending in xxxx62, the advertised price on the website which was mentioned numerous times by owner Glenn Baker was $1,200. I made an appointment and when I wanted to buy that shotgun for the advertised price, the price was increased to $1,700 and the man in the shop, not the owner became hostile that the gun I discussed was sold. I presented evidence on the item number but he made excuses he did not manage the website and the owner could not be present to confirm the price. In all I said they had played "Bait and switch" and was told to "Get out and don't come back" by this person in what I would consider extremely hostile because I had challenged their ethics based solely on website item of sale with confirmation by the owner who was not avaialble. The owners wife Christa did offer me a nice cup of coffee but frankly, it appears what they advertise on their website for the price listed is not what they are selling that shotgun for. Beware of this company and the items for sale.
