However, for an outdoor game, it was an incredible, unforgettable experience. Despite the cold, it was an amazing day. And even better that Michigan State won in overtime. It was definitely a see of blue of all, with lots of chaos and confusion from Penn state fans about where they were sitting and how to even find their seats. But, everyone was respectful. The stadium did not have much service but thankfully the bathrooms were heated. Parking was hard and easier to park further away and walk. The outdoor hockey game was definitely a unique experience and I'm so grateful I was able to attend. I would definitely be interested to attend a football game here, but of course, only if MSU was playing. Go green!

We felt welcomed and many of them thanked us for coming. One of the tailgaters even gave us shots and beer while walking towards the stadium. Stadium was under construction during the game. Made it harder to maneuver to some seating areas. Regardless of the construction, there aren't a lot of signs to help navigate the area. Entrance ticket didn't even have what gate to enter purchased seats purchased seats in section NA. There was a massive ramp to walk up to some of the seating sections. One escalator was available on the home side of the stadium. Some of the top level was setup on rafters. Port-potties were in place for that level also. I expected more screens around the concourse for it to be such a large stadium. Visitor side was packed with Penn State fans also. Stadium benches are tight and hard to enter and exit when rows are full. Might as well leave your phone in the car. . .service was very spotty. Parking: We stopped and purchased a parking pass at a gas station off the highway. I wouldn't recommend parking anywhere near the stadium. Parked in lot 44. Event staff helped waved you in. Our section was near a hill where people were getting stuck trying to park. Plenty of port-o-potties around and bags for trash. Once again there were no signs to help navigate in the lot. We ended up walking around the stadium because exit signs to specific areas were non-existent. There were no event staff in the lot assisting with exiting after the game. Took us over 2 hours to get out of the lot and to the street. Use the shuttles.

Love the types of artists. You will see art like metal sculptures, basket weaving, some steam punk, salvage artists, and traditional painters. There is typically country or 50s/60s rock played by bands. The festival is laid back. Parking is good with typically 5 buck spots at private lots. The arts and crafts at this festival are typically all over the map. But all of it is a joy to view. It is easier the navigate than the one up the road a well.

Palmer is free although you do have to pay for parking which was still inexpensive. The Palmer has a wide variety of art. It's comprehensive without feeling overwhelming. The docents are also very knowledgeable and told us about the history of the museum. (Thank you, Dottie!) The building is only a few years old, and the architecture takes advantage of the adjacent arboretum which is also free and worth a stroll. Leave yourself 60-90 minutes to enjoy all the exhibits.

For a museum located on a university campus, the quality of the collection is impressive. I am giving this location a review based on potential as I was here for an auction and not for a…read moreshow. With some tlc, decorations and string lighting this place could be a rustic venue dream come true. There are two stages one outdoor and one indoor. My phone died from the cold before I could take pictures of the inside but the indoor stage was everything one would expect and had roughly 100 seats wrapped around three sides of it. (Potentially a great space for a wedding party to view pictures or if the couple is into acting...a skit or something of that nature) There are gardens and arbors galore. There is also a spaces of land for parking and/or room for setting up tables for an events. I was happily surprised to find many trails behind the the theatre and even though I'd been carrying two children for over four hours(it's good form of cardio) in Pennsylvania's blistering cold I was able to take them both for a nice fall scenic walk while we waited for the auction to close. For anyone who's been to Canonsburg's Little Lake theatre I would say this place is very much like that theatre minus the lake location. Overall, from a potential venue aspect I feel like this place could be a place of lots of celebrations. As for the theatre productions themselves I have no experience but their website boasts lots of information and bios of the cast. Location is close to Penn State, Penn's Cave and other fun places. Certainly a location to consider and if you're into theatre this might be the place for you.

I took a little time to read the names in the memorial wall. This is a great place for a large outdoor party. The only reason I gave three stars is because of the restrooms. They need a little help. It was fun having our reunion here. Hope I get invited to another event at the VFW picnic grounds.
