I was forced to pick a random suite with people I don't even know let alone trust around my medication. As an animated arts major who loves to do fine arts in their free time, I could use a little more space AND QUIET to focus on my work since animations take a hell of o long time to finish especially if you want them to be good. Emailed housing, they gave me a bs answer and got nowhere. Now I have to search the campus for wherever the housing office is just to speak to them in person since email goes nowhere. ------ For some extra complaints: Don't trust the rice unless you like it as chewy as sour patch kids. The chicken has so much fat pieces and all that left on it when cut that it's practically all your eating. Sausage with a nice helping of ground up bones left in. The second floor of the south dining hall doesn't even have clean lettuce of any kind, I tried some with my taco and it tasted rubbery and dirty (but apparently downstairs they actually wash the lettuce). According to some people I've talked to, old main is full of black mold and asbestos and lytle hall has high radiation. At least from my experience, the dorms aren't safe from black mold finding a nice home all over your shower. They seem to lie a bit on the tours and I honestly don't like this school as much as I used to. Maybe I should've gone to SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) or RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) since those schools are actually respectable.

The certification isn't worth anything because of the "pay and you get papers" reputation of the place. When I went we had people coming in without any of the work done, openly cheating during testing, eating their lunches in the classrooms. Even one teacher who spent most of the time talking about getting a boob job. I spent lots of money to be put in a class full of racist people that didn't care what happened to their Pell grant just to get sub par training that was mostly outdated or unneeded once I went out to the field. Within 6 months of landing my job I had to retake most of my classes at "a real training program" as my boss said. Looks like it's still the same thing years later.

BUT what had happened to me is simply non repairable and I would love to receive a refund. I was there yesterday, and mind you, it was going great! I got there right on time for my appointment at 10:00. I get there, and me and my stylist are bonding, but... there's a problem. They close at 4, so we were in a crunch. I was asking to get my highlights redone with a color, and a cut. It was a little strenuous what I was asking for but I had done similar things there and it was perfect! I get it every student is different, but when she started cutting my hair the red flags were showing up. She was moving incredibly slow, we started at 10:30-40 maybe? And we didn't finish cutting until 1:30. Then we started on the lightener. At one point there was THREE PEOPLE working on my hair, and somehow it still wasn't enough time. Today do I come to find out, not only is my hair cut wrong, but it's COMPLETELY UNEVEN RACCOON TAILS ON BOTH SIDES. The communication between the three girls was not it, one of them actually had raccoon tails and was assisting. The two girls that helped one with purple hair and one with shaved sides bless their soul. They saved my hair to the best of their ability. Needless to say, my hair is completely ruined and on top of that... I WAS CHARGED 90 DOLLARS?! I payed full price for the package I didn't even get when I KNOW it doesn't cost that much. It's ridiculous and I will not be returning anymore. I'm also 89% sure my stylist was high, she was moving way too slow to be in her own head after multiple warnings of time from the instructor. When she would leave to take a break for 5-10 minutes... she would leave for 30. And on top of that, she always took her bag with her, now i'm a girl so I can understand if I girl is on her period, but that didn't seem to be the cade because she took her bag to just "be back" not because she was using the bathroom. 0-5 stars, you have completely lost my trust Metro and I do not plan on returning. To get my color and save it from how it looked before, I had spent another 30 dollars at Sallys beauty. After just being charged 90$. Ridiculous. ‼‼‼LET ME MAKE IT AWARE I GET IT IT'S A BEAUTY SCHOOL, AND THIS COULD HAPPEN. BUT I'VE BEEN GOING SINCE MIDDLE SCHOOL. They both dined on the quiche. I had the homemade protein bar (delish). Prior to a Yelp Search, I only knew about another place like this in Easton. I asked permission to take photos for this review. The owner was very kind and seemed genuinely appreciative. I learned about monthly drum circles, art classes and so much more. I mentioned I have a service dog and was immediately told she would be welcome I could write about this treasure of a business for hours. For now, let me thank LuAnn (bakery)/food etc. This felt like a "safe space" to me. Often I am overwhelmed in new places. If I could give ten stars, I would!!

From Academics to sports Souderton is more…read moreorganized and stronger than your average school, for their friendly inclusive teachers, to the brand new infrastructure throughout the entire school such as the pool, track and field this school sets itself apart. A little bit government looking as far as building looks go but you go there to learn and have a good time in the community. They have what you need with education / athletic training to give your son/daughter in spades.
