This is a niche tour for those that want to gain a better understanding of wine appreciation and the intricacies of winemaking. For high-volume party consumption, it is best to look elsewhere. For us (who live in another winemaking region of Mudgee NSW), this tour was one where we could feel free to ask questions and actually learn about WHY one wine was worth more than another. Only two wineries visited, but the personal approach and associated sense of exclusivity meant we did not feel short-changed.
