When we got there we found our table was a little too much in the sun and they were super nice about letting us move slightly to be in the shade. They also were able to close the slats on the patio roof cover to let less sun in. There were a couple kids menu items, I just remember the spaghetti and the kids enjoyed that. Cheese and meat platter - 4 stars Tempura green beans - 3.5 stars Zucchini pesto fettuccine - 4 stars. A bit al dente but the sauce was great. Sweet sour cod - 4.5 stars. Perfectly cooked and meat easily coming apart. Sur and turf - 4.5 stars. Beef super tender and tasty. Asked for medium rare but had to send it back was a little too rare, then it was perfect. The performance was supposed to start at 9 pm but didn't start till pass 940pm. They represented upon being seated that each person should have a minimum of 20 euros consumed on drinks and food to cover for the free performance. We ordered enough Sangria and appetizers to cover that minimum. However, when we were presented the bill, it was almost 70 euros. We didn't even eat entrees and had to leave midway through the show as we were dying from heat. Don't go to this place. Book ahead of time if you want to experience good Fado.

Very delicious and melts in your mouth. Goat stew was like home cooked meal. You can taste the love and authentic flavours. We also ordered the dry cured ham which went perfectly with the fresh bread they served. The coffee was ok but nothing to write home about. The red wine was great and we finished the half bottle with ease. We will definitely come back and try some other dishes as we love to support the small local restaurant owners. Nothing fancy, but quite tasty. We did a bottle of wine, which worked well. Skip the chocolate salami for dessert though--it's dry and not flavorful. We went to the early seating, which I recommend. We had reservations, which I also recommend. Though I don't recommend the actual seats, since they are super uncomfortable, but you don't have a choice. Also, this place is very small and uncomfortably tight. The performers were great. And this best part is that you cannot talk during the performance. You will get "shushed" by the entire place and that was awesome. Since this was my first time at fado, I thought the performers were great. I went with the octopus, and my friends tried the burger with fries, the shrimp dish, and a vegetable dish. Our food came out within 15 minutes and I thoroughly enjoyed my octopus. My friends weren't too fond of their meal, but, I had no qualms with mine. Then for dessert, they got the tiramisu but didn't think it as good as the one at our hotel.
