I sat in the Orchestra Section, Row I, Seat 101, and my seat was perfect. Before the show, a wonderfully warm and gregarious usher gave me a personal tour of the whole facility. What a nice man. He has volunteered here for many years. It sounded great, and there didn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. The staff, both front of house and the stage crew, were spectacular. It looks like a great place to work! There was a bar out front, but I didn't eat or drink anything. What a great venue- Mobile is lucky to have such a storied old theater like this!

I previously wrote a review in 2014 about my experience with this company. I was just notified that…read morethere was a response from the new owner. While I have no feelings either way about this studio, I am NOT happy that the new owner decided to brush off my child's heartbreak at the time as "too many absences" to continue towards her performance. She missed 1 practice, due to the terrible situation the previous owner put us in. This is not a "too many absences" issue. This was a bad management and uncaring staff issue. I will not EVER let anyone try to hide the truth about what happened. I hope that everyone that enjoys the place, continues to do so, but it looks like new management is trying to put a spin on a 3 yr old situation to make it look less about the businesses fault. That is not okay with me, as a parent that tries to teach my children about taking responsibility for their own actions.
