From vintage phones to tape dispensers that look like cassette tapes, there is quite a randomness to this place, but that makes it fun to browse. They have these incredible framed pieces that have the shape of a character/object in a book silhouetted, but instead of the silhouette being filled with black it is filled with the book's text. If you're into book posters, they also had over 10 classic novel cover posters which were quite awesome. They even had vintage and novelty thermoses and ice cube trays that formed the shape of boomboxes. They carry a few "Fred" items, which if you know the brand, are extremely fun and I'm always glad to see them in stores. St. Audrey's is a close walk from Henley's town center, so walk on over to Duke Street and have a look around!

They have recently started stocking a great jewellery range which is very reasonably priced, and gorgeous, so you can buy a beautiful necklace, matching bracelet and earrings for about £25, which I think is a bargain. They stock all sorts of other things too, such as greetings cards, gift wrap, belgian chocolates (yummy!), homewares, toys, socks, novelty gifts, the list is endless, and they change the stock regularly so you don't get too bored from week to week. The Christmas decations they get in are to die for, and usually end up ridiculously cheap in the january sales. Top quality items, at good prices, what more could you ask for? The staff are very friendly, if a little bit easily distracted, and have always been happy to spend a long time helping me try on necklaces and giving their opinions. They never seem to get fed up with me changing my mind a billion times about which one I want either, which is really nice.

WOW! What a Florist…read more I went in for my wedding flowers with no idea, and was met with Jo and her amazing team smiling. Firstly, the only place that won't rinse you financially and a sense of just knowing they'll "get you" and work Aspen Magic!! The flowers they manage to put together are stunning. Although on your wedding day it should be all about the bride so many people commented on how lovely the flowers were. Jo went out of her way to deliver the ultimate service and flowers that were so beautiful you wished they lasted forever. So patient and put up with Bridezilla changing my mind and asking for more and more, yet I never felt that it was ever too much effort. Helped to plan, suggest and everything. My mum passed away and all I did was tell Jo about mum and suddenly she had the most amazing display for me. English country was all I gave her and the ideas she came up with were so on point I couldn't think of anything more perfect. I'm not a gushy person by nature, but, I could wax lyrical about the service and delivery all day long. Flowers for work, weddings, anything just ask Aspens. I cannot thank the team there enough, just perfect.

There has been a undertone of unfriendliness on the majority of my visits, but today was awful - within 30 seconds, I was told to make sure my five year old didn't touch anything, which a) I've addressed as a parent oh, for like as long as he could walk b) is obnoxious given IT'S A TOY STORE and c) was mentioned the moment we walked in the door. Without this incident, I have reasons to not love this shop - it tends to carry large ranges of the same thing (I.e. Lego, wooden trains) and I found there were gaps in the selection, particularly for toddlers. It also charges fairly premium prices - I once got a simple origami set and a card for a 4 year old girl and it was close to £20. So, it costs the earth and doesn't appear to welcome kids - hardly a winning option.
