He was recommended to me by two other mechanics who did not have the expertise to work on my 4runner. To me, even though he is good with all aspects of automotive, he specializes in electrical. I purchased Blizzak LTs for my 4runner because they were on sale at Costco and the tire technician said they were good because they were 10 ply instead of 4 ply. But as Cameron pointed out, the Blizzak DM-V2 are made for a lighter vehicle like the 4runner and he schooled me on why the LTs weren't designed for my vehicle, only for heavier 3/4 to 1 ton vehicles. He knows his tires. Anyhow, if youre looking for an honest mechanic, I strongly recommend this mechanic. I have called others and wasn't impressed with their costs or their knowledge. We were on vacation when our car had a serious problem. The message on the dash said "charging…read morefault", we all assumed the alternator died. We had it towed to Westech and Cameron diagnosed the car as having transmission problems. We had to get the car towed to a transmission place in Kelowna. Two weeks of stress and expenses later, the Transmission specialists replaced the dead alternator with a new one and our car has worked fine since. They assured us there was nothing wrong with the transmission. Cameron at Westech diagnosed our problem wrong and created a ton of issues and expenses. I spoke to Cameron today and he apologized but offered no compensation for his error.

They originally replaced water pump n thermostat and dudjt clamp my hoses and after leaving the shop coolant spilled everywhere. N Mike tokd me , " drive bavk!" Well my car was overheating n wanted me to drive it back in! Now after letting these slack bunch do work to my car I've almost lost my engine id rather tow my car by my teeth anywhere besides go here ! This is inpt to also note; my car was needing boosts brought it to boult n they said oh u need an alternator. 799.00 that will be .well I knew my alternator was good. It was actually my battery. I got battery replaced on my own with a warranty. So happens Mike tells me that their battery/alternator tester wasn't working properly! I saved myself here. Do not go to.this place. After all the money they received from me in the end I foibd my car left in their driveway with coolant leaked all over my engine , an empty reservoir abd sone noise like klanking in my front left tire. Thanks boys for wrecking my car! AvOID this place !!!!

As all my remaining tires were in good shape and had many miles left on them I went looking for a similar replacement and ended up at Integra Tire . I showed them my damaged tire and asked if they could help me with a replacement and they quickly went looking for and found the exact tire with the same wear on it and offered to me for a very reasonable cost , including mounting and removal of my "Donut" spare. My final visit to Lordco in Penticton was nearly 3 months ago when I needed to exchange a part after the female parts person supplied me the incorrect part . Dont misunderstand my intent , I have no trouble with the fact that I got an incorrect part , as I have worked in the parts industry and understand that these things can happen , but , my displeasure stems from the fact that she was leaning on the counter , one foot elevated on the shelf below the counter top , eating potato chips , when I approached , her response was , and I quote "what ? Im busy" .............I have been in the parts industry in an establishment that dwarfs the Penticton Lordco store in both size , inventory and clientele . An attitude like that deserves nothing less than a managerial escort to the front door accompanied by a final pay cheque , not to mention a very sincere apology to the customer , whom in this case spends tens of thousands of dollars on parts yearly , but , this year , it wont be at a Lordco outlet .
