This was one of the worst nightlife experiences I've had. The men's restroom had roaches, which is unacceptable for any establishment, especially one charging high prices. Customer service was terrible from start to finish. Staff lacked basic hospitality training and treated guests with little to no respect. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable rather than enjoyable. Management was extremely unprofessional, and their behavior felt discriminatory, which made the situation even worse. Additionally, the male hosts were dishonest and created situations that made us feel taken advantage of financially. What's also concerning is that the online reviews do not seem to reflect the actual experience. Based on what I witnessed and conversations during the visit, it raised questions about the authenticity of the positive ratings, which makes the high star rating even more confusing. Overall, this place is overpriced, poorly managed, and not worth the money. There are far better options in Vegas! skip this one. read more

I recently visited Peppermint Hippo in Las Vegas, expecting a lively atmosphere similar to other establishments in the area. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Upon arrival, the contrast was stark compared to the bustling scene we had just left at another venue. Peppermint Hippo was nearly deserted, lacking the vibrant energy typical of such venues. An empty stage and the absence of a DJ further diminished the atmosphere. On top of that, we had this short, Lord of the Rings dwarf-looking fellow, who I guess was the manager, keep coming in talking to us. He gave his card and said to hit him up because he wants to talk outside the club. I don't know, I was here for the girls, not for business. Opting for a private dance, the dancer's name was "McKenzie." We agreed on $300 for about an hour. When we get back there, here comes Gimli from the fellowship, and now he says it's $400 bucks, claiming no one will disturb us--BS, BS, BS. Like, bro, me and her already made a deal, leading to an awkward and uncomfortable scenario with the dancer. Then, he tells the dancer, "I'm leaving," and to give him his cut, so she hands him $200. This is where the situation took a turn for the worse. The experience was far from what was agreed upon, both in terms of cost and quality. This girl talked, and when I say talked, she talked the entire time. She told me her life story, having danced for 9 years... her first dance was at 20 in Riverside; it got deep. So, I undress her, but to be honest, I should have left her dress on. Peppermint Hippo needs to do better in hiring girls because this girl was wrecked. She looked like she had been dancing for 9 years...Saggy breasts, saggy ass, stretch marks, and the worst-smelling who-ha I have ever smelled at a club. I mean, when she stuck that thing in my face, I almost vomited. My attempt to leave was met with resistance, making me feel trapped in an unwelcome situation. At this point, I felt like something was up, but it was just the beginning. She then says if I want to leave, I need to send her $500 for her now "time." She tells me all this stuff about paying the waitress and the club, and how she didn't make anything all night, and a really big sob story. At this point, I really feel bad for this girl. I tell her fine, I'll go to the ATM and pull out some cash and give it to her. That's when things got a little weird; she was like, no don't go to the ATM. She said, "I don't want them to see you pulling out money. Send it to me online to my phone." I thought this was a little weird, but I complied. She sent me her PayPal information through a text message, which I have attached below. Her name was Autumn Bosworth. When I went to send the PayPal, she told me to put my phone down in front of her, the cameras could see me and to turn down my brightness. I really just wanted to get out of this situation, so I complied with her. Once she got the funds, she let me go and proceeded to walk me out. She gave me a hug and told me not to make it too suspicious while walking out, which I thought was weird, but then I left. I believe we arrived shortly after 6 AM from Spearmint Rhino, and I left Peppermint Hippo at 8:30 AM. Two and a half hours later, I check my phone to a dozen missed calls and text messages. My friends had already left back to the hotel because they did not know what had happened to me and were not allowed to go in the back and get me. I had to call an Uber to come take me. Upon getting in the Uber, the driver asked what that terrible smell was and had to lower all his windows down. The terrible smell was coming from my clothes and where the dancer had rubbed her nasty who-ha on me. Like, it was really embarrassing. I didn't notice it in the club because it was so dark, but she left streaks from her nasty who-ha all over my pants and shirt. Once I got back to the hotel, I had to throw away all of my clothes from that night. This visit to Peppermint Hippo was, unequivocally, the worst club experience I've ever had. From the lack of atmosphere to the pressure from staff and the uncomfortable situation with the dancer, I strongly advise against visiting this establishment. She used to work at another club with a very similar name, the Wintergreen Elephant or something like that. Anyway visiting Vegas my highest priority was to visit her. So visited her at work. The club was very cool and the bar was awesome! I had a godfather cocktail which was amazing and perfectly made. And they were clearing out some amazing beers!! N Coast Rasputin, Chimay Blue, Duval.... I was in heaven as they were each $6-$7! Saturday afternoon and the club was relatively quiet, had a chance to meet 8 or 10 of the girls who were working. Came here on a Saturday night while out celebrating my cousin's birthday. Before entering we stopped at the food tuck outside. It was really good and much needed. Entry was quick and easy but they didnt let one of our friends inside because he was smoking. I thought that was odd considering its legal to smoke in las vegas. After entering we got a few drinks and looked for seats. Most of the table said reserved but after talking with Noah, he made sure we got some seats. I had a great experience here. The parking was accessible and all of the staff was very friendly and professional and made me feel very welcomed. I went with my boyfriend so I should add that all the ladies were very respectful and also very friendly and I assume did not approach or table out of respect for me. There is a variety of dancers of all different ethnicities and most were very beautiful and thick. We just hung out and bought drinks while listening to great music but from what I could see, the dancers were not pushy. Shout out to the black gentlemen who greeted us at the door and walked us to our table. I ran into one of them later on that night and he checked in with me to make sure all was going great. If I plan on going back to a strip club, it's going to be this. No cover for locals, staff is friendly, girls are beautiful, and the drinks are reasonable.
