I have been coming to Per Caso for 5 years now! I have had the lash extensions the entire time, and I am still absolutely OBSESSED with them!!!!!!! I grew up in Smithfield and started coming here the year that Krista opened---5 years ago!!! Now, I live in Westerly, which is AN HOUR DRIVE and I commute 2 hours every 2 weeks just for my lashes!!!! And I literally have no regrets because the product is so worth it. I go to Krista, the owner, but Kaitlyn is just as amazing, my best friend went to Kaitlyn and was just as impressed with her work! Krista is so professional, clean, friendly and considerate of your concerns and issues. During the spring time, I have really bad allergies and Krista has come in early and stayed late whenever I have asked her to do so. Krista also goes over the entire lash products with you when you are a first time client; I had 100 questions and then some, and she was so patient and answered all of my questions and concerns. I have let my fake lashes fall off completely, to make sure that my real lashes were still there and they are healthy, strong and completely in tact, there is absolutely no damage. In fact my eye doctor complimented my lashes and said that they were the best extensions he had ever seen! I love the salon so much and feel so comfortable with Krista that I also get my hair done here now too! Recently, my grandfather passed away and Krista was so compassionate that she came in two hours early to make sure that my mom's color was done and she was able to relax and be pampered before the wake and funeral. It meant so much to her, and she said that Krista made her feel at home. During such a difficult and emotional time, this meant the world to my mom! All the girls that work here are professional, friendly, and masters of their work. I trust them implicitly with my hair, skin, lashes, everything!!!! I highly recommend Per Caso Salon! read more

I have been going to Per Caso for the last several years. Ashley is amazing!! I'm very particular about who does my hair because I've had so many terrible dye experiences in the past. Ashley is, in my estimation, a color genius. I'm not the easiest person to please as I often want to be MOAR BLONDE than my natural color would permit but she has successfully brought me up to platinum blonde time and time again. I follow her on FB and am in awe of the amazing "rainbow" and "unicorn" hair colorings. If you're looking for a true professional to make your locks more fabulous than ever then Ashley is your girl!! Don't believe all the good reviews because they are fake. I didn't listen to the bad reviews and took my daughter there. It was terrible! It is true like a commenter stated, my daughter did walked out looking exactly like she walked in. The owner, Krista, refused to admit and refused to take the responsibility. I paid and did not ask for a refund because Krista is so desperate and hungry for my money. She can have my money, but I will never return and I hope this review help others from not going there. WARNING: When you book for eyelash extensions with the owner, Krista, you will be SHORT CHANGED 5-7 minutes or so off of your 30,45, or 60 minute session, even if you arrive on time! For example, if you have a 6:00 appointment for a 30 minute session , you may have to wait 5 minutes for her to leave her current client for you, but she will still end the session at 6:30. Or maybe you will have an hour session and she is late getting to you, you won't be credited the extra time toward your appointment. This is assuming you show up on time. I have had an hour session that has ended 10 minutes early; an hour session is about $60. This is not fair. If you ask her why the session ended early, she will tell you that your lashes have ben completely filled and she will not volunteer to credit you that amount of money toward your next appointment. This does not happen all the time, but it has happened to me 6 times out of 13 appointments. Krista may not think her clients notice this, but we do. Smithfield is a small community and clients compare notes. They have a policy at the salon that if you do not show up for an appointment you will be charged for the missed appointment. If you are late for the appointment, then the amount of time you are late is deducted from your scheduled block of time. On the other hand, if you, the client, has to wait another 20 minutes (as I have had to wait in the past) until your appointment can begin, you are not given any courtesies or credits. I HATE HAVING TO MONITOR THE CLOCK EVERY TIME I LEAVE TO SEE IF SHE GAVE ME THE AMOUNT OF TIME I PAID FOR. It seems that Krista is trying to cut corners. The only reason I have not left yet is because when you go to a new person to have lash extensions, you have to pay a first time fee in the ballpark of $175. I am looking to find someone new when I have enough time to do research. Who knows, maybe she will take this criticism to heart, not be defensives, and be fair to clients. If this is the case, I will stay with Per Caso. I have no other complaints, the staff is really nice and the environment is always tidy and clean. Krista, I think it would be nice if you had a time set for 30 minutes, or however long the client has scheduled the appointment, so that when the alarm goes off, everybody knows that they are getting what they paid for. I have nothing but good things to say about the salon. I started coming here because my manicurist moved to the salon in August. She's absolutely fabulous by the way. Everyone is so friendly and make you feel warm and welcome. The layout of the place is functional and nothing seems to be out of place or in the way. I purchased a groupon for a fit wrap. My initial impression when I purchased the groupon was that it would be a relaxing hour at the spa with a bonus of losing some quick weight. When I arrived the salon seemed clean and everyone was friendly. However, the fit wrap turned out to be sleeping bag that I sat in for an hour at 130 degrees. This sleeping bag didn't seem like the cleanest thing in the world. The woman said she would check on me halfway through but she didn't come back until ten minutes were left. I was suppossed to get eyelash extension done with katelynn and I've done it with her 2 years ago and I decided to go again because she was great but when I made an appt I had to reschedule 1 time. So when I had to cancel because of a family matter of death, and I've decided not to disgust my personal situation. The owner Krista decides to leave me a message saying that I was no longer able to get services in her salon because of my reschedule. I can understand if I did something disruptive in the salon, but I only rescheduled for a personal reason. But she treated me like shit. And treated like she didn't need me as a customer. I had a groupon for a facial with Erin and it was great. The salon is on the small side, but it's cozy and everyone was very friendly, even the clients! Erin used bioelements on my skin, which is a great product, and she was extremely sanitary. She used gloves and I could hear her putting alcohol on her gloves each time she began another step of the facial. We chatted during the cleansing process which was nice, and then when the massage started on my neck and shoulders, she was quiet, so I could relax. I will definitely be going back for another facial with Erin. read more
