By law, they must keep 2 months with of es row in my account big surprise the didn't. Every month, they depleted the escrow, creating another shortage for the next year. Try talking to someone. The people who answered the phone seemed to understand and agree, but it never got corrected. The problem started when they paid the wrong amount to the county, and the county returned their check. Instead of correcting, they sent me a check with no explanation. I held the check for over a month, waiting for a letter saying I had an overage but nothing. In the past, my mortgage company always sent a letter saying, "Do you want a check for the overage, or do you want to apply to your principle. But this company nothing.

I've waited awhile to post this review because I've been so angry about it for the last, almost, 2…read moreyears. We first met Katie at a home we were interested in. She seemed so knowledgeable about the house and the entire process that we felt we found a great realtor. We were also told that we were obligated to buy a house from the realtor who showed it to us... Anyway, we were fine with that at the time. We were then pushed off to a different realtor named Carla. She seemed fine so, again, not a big deal. We found our dream house and were SO excited to put a bid on it. When we did, it was quickly denied as they wanted their asking price. So I asked that we put back in a counter offer and we were told not to waste our time. Since this was our first home, I wasn't sure if this was normal or not but I trusted her. She quickly pushed us to a house that was new on the market and being sold by the owner who had flipped it. It wasn't in the best of neighborhoods but still in the school district we wanted to be in. We were told if we wanted it we had to make an offer asap bc the owner "wanted to sell to a family like us"; which in retrospect seems weird since he had no idea who we were and Carla seemed to know him well already. We put an offer in and it was very quickly accepted. Our inspector came and noted a bunch of things that needed fixing and also mentioned that since the house is old, we needed to get the pipe from the house to the street checked. The seller insisted that was unnecessary because it was brand new as well as all of the plumbing in the house. Now, this was our first house. We had no idea what a seller's disclosure was. We assumed our realtors had our backs and were on our side. Maybe others are, but Carla and Katie are not. We didn't get one, nor were we told we wouldn't be getting one. They just wanted the commission so they could be done. At our final walk-through, none of what we asked the seller to do was done. Carla nor Katie seemed to be bothered by this. In fact, the seller insisted these were things we could do on our own; like fix the windows that kept falling. We looked to the professionals we hired and at no point did they insist the seller take care of business. We signed and we got our house... We were happy until we realized every time we would take a shower, water went into the "water-proofed" basement. We called the plumber and he said it's either because the drains are clogged or because of the cracked pipe. When we asked him to explain, we found out that the seller lied to us about the pipe being brand new. It's a $16,000 fix and we never would have bought this house had we known. Why didn't we know?? Because there was no seller's disclosure... So here we are... stuck in a house that will eventually cost us a lot of money and all Carla and Katie wanted was this sale to be over so they could have their commission. When confronted about this, it was blown off as we knew about all of this. WE WERE FIRST TIME HOME-BUYERS!! Oh and to add insult to injury, the house we REALLY wanted sold for less than we offered. So to Carla and Katie, we trusted you both and you screwed us. I have told every single person I know that talks about buying or selling to stay away from your company. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

We walked into the house and found the carpets and bathroom were very, very dirty. However, we were told later by the realtor that they were planning on replacing the carpets after signing. When we walked into the house, we knew beforehand that the house was broken into apartments as it was listed as unit #1 on Compass.com. However, that was just the beginning of this nightmare. We were told that the washer and dryer were shared between the 1st and 2nd units. When I inquired about the electric bill, more specifically how the washing machine/dryer was metered out, it was made clear that the washer and dryer were to be put on our electric bill, but it was ok since they estimated to us (without seeing any bills) that it was $4.00 per tenant per month. Naturally, we were not going to pay for an upstairs tenant to use the washing machine. Then we were told we were responsible for snow removal on the property. There was nothing said in the lease about how quickly this needed to be done, and what responsibilities would be carried out by the upstairs tenant. So we asked, and got nothing. What we received was ok this is not a good deal. Needless to say my fiance and I have 730+ credit scores, and we had just relocated to the area. I had 30k in savings, and he had a job offer on hand. Then we were told that the owner would not be replacing carpets but instead would be sending a cleaning lady in; then we had to ask whether the cleaning lady had a professional cleaner, at which point they gave in and said they would be fixed. Then after we had filled out the application then we were told we would be responsible for paying $38.00 for trash collection per month.
