After reading great reviews here and on the Lakeway Swap page on FB, I tasked this place to etch some Yeti's for me for Christmas gifts. I wanted my hubby's business logo on one side and his and his employee's names/initials on the other (I bought the Yeti's myself and brought them in to be etched). I am super happy with the end product and everyone I have corresponded with here has been very nice. My beef is the poor communication. I"m guessing this is a new and upcoming business? And I understand they were very busy around the holidays, but I would estimate 8 times out of ten that I called them I got a voicemail, left a message and did not get a prompt reply.This place is located in Dripping Springs, so, not so easy just to drive out there to talk to someone. Also, not easy to drive all the way out there to see if your product is ready on Dec 23rd when they won't respond to your messages and confirm that it is indeed done and ready. They didn't inspire a lot of confidence again with the email system. After several attempts at sending them the proper size of biz logo for the etching (it took the 3rd attempt for them to be specific with the file size needed), they sent me a proof that I immediately ok'ed and they responded with a "great, we'll get your order started!". Almost TWO WEEKS later I get an email asking if I'd looked at the proof they'd sent and could I OK it? Uh.....and this on the day they estimated my Yeti's to be done, not just getting started. Like I said, I know it's the holidaze and I really do love the end product, but the process was fairly stressful. I just think they need to work out those kinks and they'd be great! read more

I ordered yeti tumblers etched with monogram initials. The initials were JDA. The font for the J looks like a backwards be. No part of it resembles a J. I called to find out if there was something or someway to fix or redo the tumbler and they said I should've asked for a proof. They only offer two options for monogram one looks like a man's style and one looks like a woman's which is fancier. The sample they show on the website is easy to decipher what letter they are. Who would've thought a proof would be needed when choosing three initials. I understand if I had a logo or artwork, but for three initials seemed unnecessary. Most websites show you an example of what your monogram would look like - there's doesn't. Now I'm stuck with a ridiculous looking yeti that I'm supposed to give as a gift. My situation was not good. The initial customer service was fine, but one of the products was not properly etched and had streaks on it. I emailed them and they said it wasn't properly cleaned and they explained how to clean it. So, I tried to clean it, but after many many minutes of rubbing, there was absolutely no change. So, I tried to contact them again and got no response and tried again with no response. Since these were gifts, I was running out of time to get them done in time, I had both remade by a local etching vendor. They explained how the streaks can happen and Perfect Etch should have taken responsibility to resolve the issue. As of this review, I hadn't seeked re-imbursement from Perfect Etch. Frankly, their customer service left me very disappointed and unwilling to have any other encounters with them Perfect Etch was less than perfect for me. read more

I ordered what I thought was going to be a 30 oz. YETI Tumbler with a monogram in a circle. I didn't get that. When I called to let them know I was disappointed in my order, I spoke with Amanda who has been hired for the Christmas rush. This was the 3rd time out of 6 calls I had spoken to Amanda. I told her what my concern was and even sent her a copy of the original email from the company to me asking me to complete my order. She asked for number to call me back. That was 24 hours ago. I've now had to source another company (local this time and less expensive) for the Christmas present I thought I was purchasing from Perfect Etch. Oh, and by the way, they go ahead and process your payment before they ship your product and when you try to find out how long your order might take, they don't communicate with you. They might be a good walk-in store but their website ordering needs work. It's not user friendly. I would not order over the website again. read more

If you're looking for somewhere to get something personalized, this is it. Local, reasonably priced etching. Best part is, you don't have to leave your home to get it done. They have shipping available, but if you don't mind going, they're located downtown. It's not in a crowded mall. No grumpy customer service people to deal with. I had a bullet personalized for necklace, done by Kati. She was very helpful and sweet, and did a good job getting down the idea I wanted. It came out looking great. The recipient already is planning on having a few items etched, just has to figure out exactly what he wants done! They were absolutely great. I got four corkcicle canteens as bridesmaids gifts and was looking for something else than the standard vinyl sticker everyone seems to offer. The first yeti I ordered from them was amazing. I used it everyday for two years. It no longer kept cold and melted very quick. I ordered a new one. It arrived and the font was huge and didn't look as tasteful as the first. The owner immediately responded and said he would replace it. After a day or two, another person in the office said the reason it came out wrong was my fault. I asked to have it redone and I would pay cost on the cup and ship the bad one back. They declined and said they would reprint it and I should place a sticker over the print that was my fault. I told them to keep the cup that I shipped back and I would find a new vendor. The quality of work is great. But their inability to work with a previous customer was disappointing. I feel I was more than reasonable with what they stated was my fault. They now have the cup that was "my fault", and my money. I won't use them again. read more

Ordered two tumblers with etching when I saw company and met owner for 1st time at a fund raiser event. Paid for product. Called 60 days later and they cannot even find my order from the event, but they found my payment. I think this is a great product and great idea, but after dealing with owner directly, and having them forget about my order is enough for me to get a bad taste in my mouth about how company is managed. Needless to say I just asked for a refund and they promptly refunded me. I hope others have a better experience. read more

Not really impressed. The product appears just as described. (Yeti Lowball Cup) No issue with the etching job on the cup. However, they seemed to have lost my order, and only after my inquiry after waiting 9 weeks, did they discover the issue, and send me the cup. ( I was concerned it wasn't going to make it to me by Christmas, after ordering on 10/5) I was disappointed that they are selling the lids separately as opposed to every other Yeti cup I've purchased, this is part of the purchase price. I didn't see this when I ordered, and now I don't have a lid for my cup. I surely don't want to wait for the order, and get one for the $6.00 they are asking. read more
