Mind you, she's been getting groomed her entire life by multiple different groomers. We get there, and they say it's $40, not a hair on this dog's head was touched. They didn't cut her nails until we asked, but still charged half the price for a bath. I've never had such a terrible experience with a groomer before, and I definitely will not be back here. They could've at least trimmed her sanitary areas and trimmed her up with scissors to be asked for half the price is totally unprofessional.

The last straw came down today when I went to pick my dogs up and she had both my 40-pound Australian Shepard and my 15-pound Shih Tzu crammed into one cage together so small that they were on top of each other and could not move. This is not the first time that my dogs have been mishandled at this shop. My Australian Shepard has been repeatedly burned with the razor on his underside. The last time it happened it became infected, and I had to take him to the vet for antibiotics. Adding to the frustration, the owner is the most unfriendly person I have met in a long time. I cannot recall a single instance where she even said hello or smiled. What is even more disheartening is that she never once said thank you. When you drop your dogs off the only thing she says to you is "Same as usual?" This phrase suggests that there is at least some consistency with her service - but that couldn't be further from the truth. I have lost count of the number of times that she completely shaved off my Shih Tzu's mustache, and when I bring it to her attention, she doesn't even bother to apologize. Reading through her other reviews on Google I suspect that most of the reviews for this shop are from friends. I noticed one was actually from her daughter, who also works there. I would be leery if you rely on reviews to try this one out. Having entrusted eight dogs to different groomers over the past 25 years, I strongly recommend exploring other options. Find one that you can communicate with and that doesn't get mad at you for telling them how you want your dog groomed.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAT to them to get groomed otherwise they could wind up shaved in bizarre places…read morelike ours did... Then shaved her from one front leg to the other, almost to the skin in a few places AND chopped her fur with jagged cuts all around her neck! She looks absolutely ridiculous and this will take months to grow out. THEY WERE EXPLICITLY TOLD NOT TO CUT HER FUR! When questioned about it, they claim they don't know how that happened and didn't cut there... THE CAT DIDN'T SHAVE HERSELF! We have brought our Maine Coon to them on two occasions... The first time we noticed that they had trimmed where we had asked them not to and thought maybe there was a miscommunication... In fairness we wanted to give the business a second try and brought our cat back again and made sure there was no misunderstanding on not cutting or shaving our Maine Coon except for sanitary region... Obviously there was no misunderstanding, the groomers blatantly ignored our request, completely violated our trust, and made our cat look absolutely ridiculous! It will take months to grow out!!! I wish I would have read some other reviews before I took her there, I would have seen how they violated other owner's directions and haphazardly shaved other pets explicitly again the owner's directions and without consent! Their "affordable" pricing will be at you fur-babies expense, and you will pay for it indirectly with how they violate your consent.

We picked the individual service package, which consists of a bath, blow dry, ear cleaning PAD shave and nail cutting/trimming which only costs $20 for a small breed (Chihuahua/Terrier mix) After we came back from less than an hour, our Shoyo was very clean and looked really fresh, much thanks to Patty, as she is very passionate with all pups and has 4 of her own and are well taken care of, as she gives that family feeling with her customers as some of us do treat our doggos like children. Tip: Parking can be quite a hassle when it gets busy on the weekends, so make sure to park near the Salon as it is easily accessible by the entrance to the shops towards the end of the Market. Come check out Patty's Pet Salon and give your pooch a pampering time :)
