He was able to come that same morning in not much more time than it took me to get ready. Of course, it helped that I wasn't that far from his business address. We discussed what the problem was in advance and the likely cost of repair. He came prepared with the necessary materials and inspected the roof. He performed the immediate repair to keep things watertight and provided some advice on the condition of the roof and additional recommended repairs. While his immediate repairs were enough to stave off the forthcoming rains, I opted to have him come back and do the additional repairs just so I wouldn't have to worry about it again for awhile. Keith no longer does full roofing jobs, because his business plan cannot support the expected warranty period. However, he's still available for smaller repair jobs. With the rain season a leak on the roof started to pour down inside the garage so I called/emailed about 10 different companies in order to have them coming to check on it and give us an estimate... no one responded but Keith, and he did very quickly within the very same day that I sent him an email/voice mail. He came the next day to look at the leak and offered to do a temporary fix as he was already committed to other jobs and would not be able to come fix the whole thing soon, so we looked at his estimate and it was a very decent price, so we agree on taking him up to do the job... best decision made. He's very professional and came back to take down a satellite antena that was the cause of the leak and do a temporary fix since rain was happening during that time until he came a couple days later and replaced the board and shingles. He was always very polite and service oriented so I'm very happy to recommend him for any roofing needed, he's definitely your man for it!! I had an old tin catch pan above my front walkway that leaked and was causing underlying damage. Everything seemed to be going well until he completed an issue w/o telling us and approving it with us beforehand which is exactly what we ask him to do. He wanted to argue about it but the reality is we asked him to communicate any additional projects with us before making a decision which he DID not do. Furthermore he became defensive after we asked for him to show the work he completed. He seemed bothered with having to show his work. He then became very ugly in his tone and attitude with my husband and me. He was very unprofessional using slander and offensive, cheap name calling in his deranged moment of frustration with our principled concerns. He seemed to be having a temper tantrum and was wildly accusatory towards us questioning him. Sorry Bob. Its business and your customers deserve to ask questions and see work completed. End of story. We had Keith out to repair some flashing that had been poorly installed when we had a roof built over our back porch a few years ago. It had started leaking down the outside wall in a hard rain, and the flashing was lifting up from the roof itself. Keith came out right on schedule. Our ceiling began leaking after a couple days of heavy rain. I found Keith via Yelp and filled out the online service request form on a Monday morning (while it was still pouring). Keith called me back almost immediately. He said he'd be out later that day which I couldn't believe as it was supposed to rain all day. Keith Carson has fixed two roof leaks and installed three roof vents at my home over the last few months. His work is very methodical and of excellent quality. I liked that he took the time to explain the problems he found and what he did to fix them. In addition, his fees are very reasonable. His work includes a one-year workmanship warranty which means that he will return up to two times within a one year period from the date of completion to correct problems that may arise. I find Keith to be one of the most ethical business people whom I've had the pleasure of hiring. We've already discussed replacing my roof if the leaks continue and his estimates are very reasonable. Keith did a roof repair job for us where the gutter had drained onto the roof over our front porch and ruined the shingles and the plywood. The shingles we had were no longer available, but he had a supply of them and matched them perfectly! He also replaced the plywood and covered it with moisture barrier so it would not happen again. He came to our house the day we called to give us a quote and came the next morning to fix it! He also did some touch ups over the rest of our roof because we are selling it and he didn't want the inspectors to find any problems. I thought I had already written a review but see that I did not and although my transaction with Perfect Pitch is almost a year old, the service provided warrants a review. I was referred to Keith by another roofer back in early 2014 for a minor roof repair from a leak around my skylight. Keith came out, inspected the area, took photos and told me exactly what was wrong. Long story short, I had Keith replace the skylight with a better model and was very happy with his work. Fast forward a few months later, I called him again after we had a pretty bad hail storm. Keith came out again, inspected the entire roof and told me that we did have damage to the roof. I called our insurance company and they came out, did an inspection and concurred with Keith's assessment that a new roof was needed. Keith brought samples of different shingles and explained the differences of each brand. We finally selected the shingle type we wanted and Keith went to work. His price was very fair and his workmanship is meticulous. He saw so many things that had not been done correctly by the builder originally, and suggested how we could correct them. Never once did Keith try to high-pressure us--his suggestions were always presented in a low-key manner and well-thought out and explained. We ended up also replacing one more skylight (again a better model), along with a new section of gutter and were really pleased with the end result. My initial reaction was to go with a larger company when we found out we needed a new roof but I'm so glad we chose Keith and Perfect Pitch.
