Talk about stressful and extremely disappointing. Additionally, they canceled the 2nd part of our move already scheduled for the following week due to not having enough trucks or manpower to complete it. To add insult to injury, when I expressed my disappointment to the manager on Monday, he tried to place the blame on me. I provided all requested information during the estimate conversation, so that's on them. Basically, if you want your stuff moved without incident, go with another company. I thought I'd throw some biz to a small-town, local, police owned company but they obviously didn't have the proper resources to complete a job. The crew that arrived right on time was Troy (crew leader), Tyler and CA. All 3 of these men were amazing and the epitome of professionalism and also being personable. With the amount of stuff i had, which to give you an idea, 20ft uhaul filled to the very tip top! Without Troy, I don't think anyone else could have successfully loaded that truck other than him, haha. They had their system down and Troy helped get it in motion and then Tyler & CA broke everything down and brought it to him. Troy was a loading genius and made it all fit perfectly. They were so quick and got the job done and I couldn't have asked for a better crew. They even brought us some fresh banana nut bread, which was so sweet and thoughtful considering my entire kitchen was packed up! When we arrived to the new house everything was still in its place and not one thing was broken or damaged. I received a quote for my move. When Mark showed up with 4 other guys to move a 1 bedroom 1 1/2…read morebath apartment of 998 sq ft. They completely emptied every file and legal paper out of my roll top desk & threw it in a box and did not bother to wrap the desk at all. They emptied my protein bars, crackers and 13 bags of microwave popcorn from their containers and threw all of that in a box with numerous other items. Mark said he needed additional boxes & brought all small that he purchased somewhere. The only items that were shrink wrapped were my couches. I was told my coffee table & end tables would be wrapped. They left everything under my kitchen sink 2 sides, plus a few dishes that were not packed. I moved that myself, plus left 2 or 3 empty boxes in my apartment. Needless to say the actual quote almost doubled. I am sure this was the plan. I have never dealt with such a total mess!! I am in a totally new complex & the people who have moved in are alerting others.
