The blue velvet couch was my favorite spot, as you could sit for a while and chat about packages and pricing. I like the decor in her shop and love how easy it is to go in and find exactly what you need. She even rents the space out for events and girls nights, and I can't wait to go back.

The reason for one star: they ruined our sand ceremony keepsake. Once the reception started our gifts, cards and sand kit was placed inside. Once the party was over they lock up. Understandable it's someone's home. That's when I realized our sand kit with our sand keepsake was locked inside. I asked if we can go grab it and they refused. Ok again I understand that it's someone's house but none of the staff or anyone working there offered to go back inside and grab it. I asked when can we get it and They said Monday! Wedding was on a Saturday and We're from Phoenix so it's a bit of a drive. So we drive back to the mansion to pick it up and they left the box on the porch. I grab it and opened it up and they had turned the box upside down so the sand was falling out and it got all mixed up! Now every time I look at our keepsake I'm reminded of how terrible they were to us and how they had no consideration for our belongings. Just throw it outside on the porch. We chose her partial planning option so she worked with us throughout our engagement but we split the workload (which we wanted since, admittedly, it was hard to give up some control). Once we found our other vendors, Mollee did a wonderful job communicating with/between them, keeping us on track, and giving advice/making decisions on design aspects (which is what we felt we needed the most help with: trying to make everything cohesive). Sometimes we asked for advice, and sometimes we completely deferred to Mollee for a design choice, and we couldn't be happier with the result!! We also used her other company, Posh Petals, for our florals, and those turned out amazing as well. The wedding was GORGEOUS, and this might be too much pressure to put on her for the future, but there were literally no issues/hiccups throughout the wedding day (at least that we, the bride and groom, knew about). The schedule was so detailed and organized that we even ran slightly ahead of schedule and got to open dancing earlier! After having daughters and friends attempt to plan my party and get nowhere due to distance and competing plans, I decided to do a party with a surprise for the guests. The surprise was something I had always hoped for but never got: A girl jumping out of a cake. I soon realized the clock was ticking and getting all the pieces together was beyond me so I did what any CEO would do, hire someone to do the work. Not so easy. Party planners are set up for weddings, not family birthday parties and certainly not girls popping out of cakes. But, not only did Confetti answer the phone (the only one who did; others took two days to never to return calls or emails), owner Liz Barbato actually jumped (ha-ha) at the chance to do something different. Plus, where I was thinking of a section of a restaurant, she was able to find an entire restaurant and put up a sign "Closed for Private Party." Pretty impressive. Everything was themed, the decorations, the food, and a cowboy duo to play. Meanwhile, finding the jumping cowgirl was anything but easy. Even though the party was G-rated (OK, maybe PG), it still took all of Liz's creativity and ingenuity to find just the right gal who would play it for laughs and fun and pose for pictures with the grandkids. In other words, Liz made my birthday wish come true. And, all at about half the cost of the only other bidder. Next big birthday, I know who I'm going to call. Unless, you have her booked already.

Our guests couldn't say enough about how beautiful and fun both of our events were. Meagan was always available to talk to, and really listened to our vision for our wedding, while being real at the same time. She put us in contact with vendors that fit our style and budget and gave suggestions as to who she thought would be best fit for our desires. Meagan is a miracle worker (finding not one, but two makeup artists day of the wedding) and made us all feel prepared and organized on the big day. It was refreshing to just have to "show up" knowing Megan and her team had the day and details all under control. Meagan is such a good person, it really says a lot when you truly miss talking with your wedding planner! Meagan still came to our hotel on the morning of the wedding to check in and wish us the best. Victoria was great on the wedding day! She found us right when we showed up to the reception after the ceremony and had a tray of hors d'oeuvres for us and the wedding party to have in between pictures. She had every place card placed and ordered to perfection. I am sure that there are a million other things she helped with but we did not even know because everything just seemed seamless and stress-free to us - just as it should be!

Ok, first the good... *The food was excellent. We had beef and chicken, both with wonderful sauces, along with some amazing green beans and mashed potatoes. The dessert was great too. *The wait staff were super helpful, courteous and efficient. I hope they pay them well because they deserve it. *The venue was very pretty Ok, now the not-so-great, which unfortunately is a longer list... *They need better signage and lighting for nighttime events. It was hard to tell where to park and even more difficult finding the buildings in the dark. We wandered through the rocky parking lot and found a sidewalk and finally found the party. *Um, ADA compliant? Not so great. I have a lot of health issues and have difficulty walking long distances. There was no such thing as handicap parking and I would have had a very difficult time trying to use my walker. Good luck if you're in a wheelchair. *This was partially an outside event. Generally speaking, outside events in the winter have patio heaters but the only heat sources available were two small fire pits. Everyone took turns warming up by the fire but more was definitely needed. *Our invitation said there would be s'mores stations set up. I don't know if this was a mistake by the venue or the person who booked, but no s'mores were found. Boo! *Lastly, the bartender was less than friendly. Every other staff person was beyond helpful and super friendly except for the bartender. I mean, he wasn't outwardly hostile or anything but he might as well have been a robot bartender. At least the drinks were good!
