She would go to Dr. Cho once in a while, and she would literally be walking out as if nothing ever happened. I can't say I don't envy that because my body type just requires more visits (a lot more). I never thought I would also wake up with a (very) stiff neck.. It was so bad that it was impossible for me to do just simple tasks. Both my shoulders were pulled together towards the center, and the pain just sucked. My sister highly recommended this place, and I had a total of 10 visits, twice a week. If you're hesitating about Eastern/Oriental/Traditional Chinese Medicine, here's my feedback: 1. Go when the pain first rouses 2. Receive persistent treatments (see it through the end to see how compatible it is with your body) 3. Take the doctor's recommendation I don't think they take Medicaid here, but judging by the amount of elderly, you can tell the quality of the service. (Always listen to your grandma). When I tell you he is the REAL DEAL, please believe me. On my first visit, Dr. Gao asked me to point to where I was feeling the tingling sensation and by the time I stood up and walked around, it was gone! Before seeing Dr. Gao, I went to 3 other acupuncturists and their treatments did nothing for me. I was in really bad shape when I saw him -- emotionally, physically and mentally. As much as I despise needles, I looked forward to our sessions because they made me feel noticeably more energized, helped with my balance tremendously (one of the areas the stroke affected) as well as with my circulation.
