Exceptional work on the outside and inside of our home. Quick response time with fair pricing. Painters came in the morning and power washed the entire house then came back to paint and finish the job. They are detailed and hardworking. The finished look was beautiful! Our kitchen cabinets came pre-sanded but the Performance Painters spent several days re-sanding them until they were buttery smooth before they painted them. They turned out great! They use top quality paint and it has held up. They keep track of your paint colors and can come out and meet with you to help you decide on which colors work best for your project. The company owner, Will Reid is genuine and kind. He or his project managers comes out to the job site to make sure the project is going well and that you are pleased with the results. I have used performance painting three times now. The first was a complete home remodel; floors, scraping popcorn, repainting the entire house, closing off doorways, plumbing and electric work. They did an amazing job. I had a short timeline of six weeks and they did the job in the timeframe I needed. A year later my water heater (which I forgot to replace during the remodel) died and flooded half my house. Will was there to replace the water heater, the flooring and drywall. His team just returned to do some minor painting on my exterior. For any job, big or small, I call Performance Painting. I know I sound like an advertisement, but finding a contractor you can trust is difficult, especially for a single woman. I trust them and they do a great job at a fair price. read more

Performance Painting (PP) did an outstanding job restoring my home following flood damage from the 2021 February freeze. The project was significant (including a complete kitchen cabinet/countertop/backsplash redo), but PP handled the job professionally and restored my home to its original condition (even better). In spite of local contractors being overwhelmed with projects following the freeze and the impact of COVID-19 on materials and worker availability, PP was able to deliver on their promise. I must note that the original contractor that my insurance company assigned to my claim immediately after the freeze was also a local company, but they were a complete disaster and I fired them after 6 months. PP came in, corrected all of the extremely poor quality work done by the previous contractor and finished the project to my complete satisfaction. read more

Watch out! Horrible experience that all could've been "made right" IF they'd kept their word. Make them put EVERYTHING in writing, every single scenario to protect your home/property. They were hired to do a very small job after other construction in our home & ended up damaging our brand new floors! Owner said they'd take care of it ... false. Don't let TGL fool you into thinking someone will hold the bag. Payment was delayed due to terms of THEIR stated guarantee but that only resulted in PP seeking a lien against us. Ethics, honesty & customer service are insignificant to these people. Bait & switch, rip & run, talk out of both sides of their mouths are just some things we lived 1st hand. I cannot recommend Performance Painting highly enough. Josh Miller was the project manager who provided the estimate and oversaw the project. Two workers showed up for an entire week's worth of work. They were punctual, polite, and obviously extremely skilled. Those workers knew what they were doing! I needed to have the exterior of my home repainted, but I also knew that a substantial amount of carpentry work would be needed as well. Performance did not disappoint. My project ended up being more carpentry work than actual exterior painting. I had the entire chimney rebuilt (siding and trim boards), had a beautiful new backdoor installed and the door frame completely reconstructed, and had a mountain of wood replaced (areas of siding, fascia, soffit, etc.). And, of course, the exterior repainted. They started on time and they ended the project on time - and my house looks brand new. You cannot go wrong if you hire Performance Painting! If I could give them a negative rating I would. I guess I dodged a bullet. I contacted them to receive a quote to paint/touch up a house. The guy came out to the house, 45 minutes late might I add, walked through the house, promised me a great quote by 10:00 A.M. 10 o'clock came and went. At 2:00 I texted the guy to verify they had the right email address. He texted back the quote would be send shortly. Four hours later still no quote. Pretty bad business. Needless to say I will never call them again. I am sure we will have more painting needs. read more

They came the first day to repair our garage, left immediately and said they would be back in 45 minutes. Came back two and a half hours later and did not finish. Did not show the next day to finish the job. Supposed to be here at 9:00 a.m. two days later and by 10:45 they were not here. We called and fired them and then four men showed up immediately AFTER we fired them. Horrible experience! read more
