They looked over the Jeep and found that that the filter had come loose not allowing the fluid to engage the tranny. Rather than lying and trying to charge me $2000 for a new transmission they replaced the filter, changed the transmission fluid (with synthetic fluid) charged me $150 and I was on my way. On the way home from the shop about 3 miles in the car went into limp mode. Took the car back and another 3 months they said they put another transmission in and still had the same problem. My friend's son who is in school to become a mechanic diagnosed the issue and replaced mechatronic. The car is now drivable. There is still the hard shift, we think it is the converter.
