My husband made my appointment so I just showed up, filled out paperwork and had my appointment. I…read morethought it was a weird location at first because it's such a busy strip center but the inside was quiet and professional. The wait was about 10 minutes to get my xrays done then I was taken to room for gum exam, then a 5 min wait to see Dr Patel (who was super friendly and helpful) then the benefits coordinator came in and allowed me to pay and schedule my next appointment in the room. Finally a short wait to see the hygienist (thorough, quick, friendly) who performed my cleaning and fluoride treatment. Overall I felt great about the experience. The proximity to my house and the overall organization and professionalism will bring me back here in six months for my next checkup.

Although the dental hygienist Tammy is great and Dr. Patel is pleasant, the office staff is…read moreHORRIBLE!!! They are so inept at their jobs, it is sickening. On 12/16/24, I had teeth whitening done on the upper & lower arch. Even though I told them that my insurance pays for 50% of each arch, the lazy office staff did not verify my coverage, but instead has me pay in full and said they would issue a credit when the insurance paid their portion. Fast forward to March 2025, I go in for an appointment and bring them 2 letters that my insurance company has sent them asking for additional information on the whitening service that I had. PMD had never responded to the request for information!!! Now I am asked to pay for that days appointment when i should have had a credit on my account! Fast forward again to July 2025, I am scheduled for an appt on the 21st. This time I call the office prior to my appt and STILL no credit. My insurance paid them $227 which should now be a credit on my account. I am furious. I cancelled my appt and I will no longer do business with these people. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB and TSBDE! Next, it will be small claims court. It is really stupid that I have to waste time on this! BEWARE! Make them verify services with the insurance. Do not pay in full waiting for them to give you a refund!!

I have been a client of Dr. Leticia Plumber for several years, since her father retired from his…read moredental practice. Her location is in Pearland in a strip center with plenty of parking. My 1st time going to the office my GPS gave me the blues constantly recalculating. So you don't have this problem I suggest searching for the China Café seafood buffet address, which is 10009 Broadway, Suite 109. I use Dr Plumber for orthodontics, Candid to be exact. I didn't want to use invisiline because they shave a small amount of enamel to align teeth. The staff there have been professional and accommodating. I have received great care and all my questions were answered in detail to my satisfaction providing me enough information to make informed decisions.

    1. Front desk needs better communication skills. 2. need…read moremore dental training including dentist and technicians. 3. Needs to be cleaned and has a smell. 4. Needs better equipment for imaging and dental procedures. 5. Lack of attention from dentist, multiple appointments at once feels rushed and slow at the same time. Not that good and here's why: 1. Horrible communication skills between Maxwello, the VA, and patients. It's hard to contact Maxwello by the phone they rarely answers and if you leave a message you will not receive a call back. Been waiting on certain appointments for a few months. When I finally got a hold of the front desk I was told they lost their va contract a month ago. I did not receive a call or text message from them regarding this matter. They think it's not their responsibility to inform patients of loosing their contract with the Va system prior to loosing it. So they can send a mass appointment confirmation text to patients, but not able to inform veteran patients who are waiting for approvals that they are no longer available to veterans. 2. Temporary crowns have falling out fast. This happened multiple times, the fastest was as soon as I got home from appointment didn't eat or drink anything and 1 hr of leaving they fell out. Tried to call but no answer I just returned back to the office with teeth in hand. They reinstalled them but during I was told that I would be charged the next time to reinstall them. huh? 3. The new permanent teeth not correctly placed or aligned incorrectly in mouth feels odd and clicks out of place. Told them a few times was told nothing is wrong. Everyday I need to push on the to get them to click them in place. 4. I spent more time with the technicians than the dentist. I understand that healthcare is a busy industry but the dentist will rush in do something in your mouth really fast and bounce from room to room handling multiple patients at once. The process feels rushed and feels as if the dentist did not have your full attention or focus on your mouth. Update: I went to a different dentist and everything that I stated above was correct. 90% of Dr. Plummers from Maxwello work is bad and will need to be redone. They did not correctly cement my crowns which can lead to cavities and food particles getting stuck. Also Maxwello installed the wrong type of teeth. I was wondering about how weak and misplaced my front teeth felt and it's because Dr. Plummer installed Veneers, which were not what we discussed the plan that was proposed was crowns, I was never was told anything about veneers by Dr Plummer so they are just doing whatever they feel like at Maxwello. My new dentist explained that since I'm a grinder I should have crowns NOT veneers. Dr Plummer should have known this because she made me purchase an expensive night guard for this reason. So beware, My next stop will be the BBB to ensure others will not go through this same mistake.
