First appointment showed up 10 min early for our 8:45 am appointment saw the doctor at 9:05.

I came in for the polio shot and specifically said NO OTHER VACCINES right before I'm about to leave the country with my toddler. They gave my daughter the flu shot and told me after it was already administered that they messed up and gave her the wrong vaccine. My closest friend got Guillain-Barré syndrome from the flu shot and lost 20 years of her life that way. I am livid! It is one of the main shots I would NEVER give my child by choice. read more

The pediatrician we had was Dr. Batra and she was always thorough and attentive during visits. She took the time during each visit to address the questions we had and never made it feel like she was in a rush. Being able to communicate with her through the patient portal was very helpful. She was always prompt and detailed in her responses. The only issue I've had is having to wait multiple times for the nurses to come back into the room after the doctor has left. This could be for a blood draw or vaccines. Sometimes the wait was a little long when you have a little one who isn't thrilled to be there, but overall the experience here was positive. read more

Came here because my child's PCM was not available. The Hillcrest area it's located in is VERY busy with traffic outside and the clinic is located on a corner of a street intersection that's super busy. Parking was tricky since I didn't know where it was and didn't ask beforehand but I found out when I was checking out that the clinic DOES have parking and they DO validate so bring your parking ticket with you!!! There is an underground parking garage that's kinda hidden behind the building on 5th st. I didn't know about but I'll be sure to use it now that I know where it is. Super efficient and wonderful service from everyone from the front desk, nurses to the pediatric M.D.. so nice there are actual pediatric doctors for our kids here! My child was seen by Dr. Strong. So personable , zero time wasted, great bedside manner for my young child and very thorough when it came to finding out what sicknesses my child had. She was so easy to talk to and wanted to talk to us. There was no feeling of rush to get us out and she made us feel like a priority during the entire appointment. The Dr. genuinely cared and wanted to help. I couldn't be happier. I love when people know what they're doing like this place does. 10 out of 10 recommend! Oh! Another important thing that I noticed was that the entire clinic was extremely clean with nothing messy or out of place. I've used Perlman Clinic - 2 other locations- for myself for urgent care also - without any issues. Billing has been perfect each time at all 3 locations I've now used - which is very important to me. read more

They've always got appointments, but I'm starting to see why. It's irritating to have a 30 min wait after our appointment time when there's literally no one in office but us and like 8 employees. They're respectful and kind, but I don't feel super confident after leaving their office and always tell myself to find a new doctor. read more

Dr Strong was not versed in the CDC Meningococcal conjugate or MenACWY vaccines protocol. Instead of educating my child and I she tried to scare me. Her bedside manner was atrocious, I came in sick and had my own urgent care visit and she seemed extremely upset that I had to see a provider in the urgent care. read more

I changed my daughter's pediatrician from a community clinic to Perlman pediatrics and it was a night and day experience. The support staff is very kind, facilities are very clean, and Dr. Batra is great. She's attentive and answers any questions or addresses any concerns I've had. I'm so grateful that we changed our daughter's provider. It's easy to get appointments in-person and/or online. Parking garage has stroller parking and gets validated by the office staff. So easy to make same day appointment as new patient; responsive and receptive support staff; informative md who really took the time to explain ear infection and treatment (toddler has hx of it); and appt was in and out! We went to Perlman Pediatrics for an urgent care visit when my daughter was having bad asthma. We are from out of town and I was really dreading going to urgent care - it can be a really unpleasant experience with hours of waiting and mediocre doctors who don't usually work with kids. The staff and PA we worked with at Perlman were incredibly warm with my 6 year old, provided excellent care, and made the process simple and fast. The lovely care and quality from the physicians along with the office/admin employees are all amazing. Both the PA and the doctor we have seen, have both been so kind. They get us in to our room and with a CNA almost immediately after we arrive. They are efficient, knowledgeable and kind. I went when my son was sick and I think we saw McAdams and she was wonderful. She followed up to check on our child and was wonderful with him. Unfortunately I feel like Dr Bartra just was not interested in working with us. She was distant and seemed annoyed and the way she interacted with my son was problematic. She asked questions and when I asked about things I didn't get answers. To check his teeth a tongue depressor was just shoved in his mouth which was of course ineffective and then I was made to feel like he was a fussy baby for not going along with that sort of examination. I'm not sure if any baby would have responded well to that but at the very least I thought maybe she could have tried a less aggressive approach with a one year old. It wasn't communicated to me to stay for blood test results and no one ever got back to me. I had to call to get them and when I requested to talk to the doctor about the results no one got back to me and I ended up having to ask my questions to a different physician at a different practice. I feel dismissed and honestly I felt like the doctor was unprofessional and not great with young children or mine at least. I won't be continuing at this practice. read more

After searching for a place that could do a last minute sports physical for my child I was recommended Perlman clinic in hillcrest. They were able to give us an appointment within 45 minutes however I was early and they started our appointment early which was super helpful. The staff was fantastic with my kiddo and although we didn't have many concerns they gave us a ton of recommendations for the concerns we did have. They engaged with him and explained him everything they were going to do and let him be a little chatterbox! They were able to complete the sports physical paperwork and when they realized we hadn't yet established a local pediatrician they offered to provide that service which was an easy yes after a great experience! I've worked with Perlman clinics in a professional setting and always had a great experience and it was awesome to see their patient care match! Definitely recommend! read more
