My first Permadry fix was in 2014 after years of vacuuming the basement following just about every rain, leaving the basement useless for enjoying. Permadry was like a gift from heaven, when they fixed the 10 foot crack. You could literally hear the water running in the crack before it was fix. We now have a guest room complete with on suite. Just this spring I had noticed a small damp area on the floor where the crack was fix. We exposed the crack and found some leaking around the injection tubes. We called Permadry and we were put on a schedule for inspection. Danny Cole arrived and without hesitation told us the entire crack would be fixed under complete warranty. PermaDry is amazing company with an organized staff who are committed to fixing the issues presented. The owner goes above and beyond. I had work done by another company that operates in Dartmouth. The work was not done properly and my basement continued to leak and flood. The other company avoided my emails and calls to fix their work. I have to admit - the "PermaDry" injected product is not bad, can solve your leak when applied properly; however it is a little on the pricey side. My issue is with the service after the sale/warranty. I had some work done and thought it was done well, however after the next rain, water was still coming in. Informed them and patiently waited, and waited, and waited. I was put off - "he'll be in touch soon"/"you're in the queue" via text and emails and forced to leave messages on an answering service that never get returned. Ultimately I contacted a local contractor, who quickly (and for far less than $100/ft. - rough PermaDry estimate - ie. 6 ft. long crack = $600) solved my problems. I was fooled by their edited Facebook reviews, hope you won't be. Check out the Better Business Bureau of Nova Scotia for some accurate reviews, only one of which will be mine. I ended up with PermaDry by accident. I left messages with Wise Cracks, and then PermaDry. Wise Cracks never did get in touch. PermaDry responded the same day. Michael Habib was friendly and straight-forward. He proposed two possible approaches to our water-damaged basement. I selected one and asked a couple of questions and he laid out a modified plan that met all of my concerns. The work crew were a delight to interact with, and the cleanup that followed was thorough. I was billed the exact amount in the quotes. A few months ago I emailed PermaDry and thanked them for the first year of a completely dry basement in about 30 years. PERMADRY came out to our house and did a great job. The work was exactly what they quoted for. They knew what they were talking about.
