I wanted it to be a little bit more personalized, so I decided to have it engraved. After researching my choices I decided on Bay Engraving on Ohio Street in Bellingham, WA. The lady at the counter was very pleasant and easy to work with. She told me that the engraving would probably take about a week because the engraver would typically wait until there were several orders and do them all at once. My only complaint would be the location doesn't have a very large parking lot and I drive a full-size pickup truck. But, I will admit that's a very mild complaint . I was very happy with the engraving services and with my interaction with the staff.

I took my KA-BAR knife in to be sharpened, was told it would be about an hour because he had to…read morechange his stone. I went back about 3 hours later and he had told me that he forgot to sharpen it but it would only be a minute. He handed me my knife and it left. When I got home I noticed that he had gone a little too far down the blade and wrecked the first 2/3 of the serrations on the knife. I took it back and he said that he would fix it but it would take a week. I went back to grab the knife and it looks like the only thing that he did was touch up the black on the back of the knife. Very disappointed that he tried to do it in a hurry and wrecked the serrations on a $120 knife. Now I have to go find someone else to fix it.
