Eli was extremely attentive and focused on our wishes. He asked many questions during the consultation to ensure that we were going to end up with exactly the vision and functionality we were looking for. At the end of the consultation, he provided a virtual sketch of what the bathroom would look like, and we were amazed at the fact that every detail we talked about was captured perfectly. We were assured that the commitment of Paradise Remodeling was to take care of everything along the way to make the process from start to finish a pleasant and stress-free one. That commitment was met ten-fold. One of the many positives of hiring this company was that they created a team on WhatsApp to funnel all communications through so that everyone was on the same page during the process. Another big, impressive feature hiring this company was a creation of a spreadsheet where all of the materials (fixtures, vanities, faucets, etc.) we wanted to purchase were entered in on each line item so they could be reviewed and approved measurement wise to ensure they fit in the space, and worked in the way we described to Eli. The other line items on the spreadsheet assisted with the purchase of materials needed for the job. (grout, tile, light switches, wall outlets, etc.) Also provided was a "shopping list" which we took to Lowes and Home Depot. That made things super easy! We then met with Christopher, the project manager, for the entire job. What an amazing person! He was there every step of the way to answer questions, of which we had many since we had never completely gutted a bathroom before. He was very professional, personable, and most importantly patient with all our questions. He made us feel like we were his only customer, which we knew wasn't the case. He's a busy guy! We do suspect, however, that he enjoyed working with us and made himself available because he loved coming over to see our golden retriever, Lily. The installers, Viktor and Irina, were amazing! With the exception of the demo, which another company handled, they did everything from start to finish. They showed up on time each morning, and literally walked in, said good morning, and then went right to work. I don't think I've ever met two people who physically work so hard in the home remodeling business. Home renovations do not, however, go without a few glitches here and there. We had just a few minor issues, one being a very persistent little drip in a pipe under the sink. Not to be deterred, Christopher came back each time the leak was fixed and then decided to rear its ugly head again from another location. And viola! The sink lost the fight! The message here is if there were any issues along the way, they were addressed and resolved immediately and to our complete satisfaction. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Paradise Remodeling. If you are looking for an exceptional experience with an amazing result, this company is for you. Our newly remodeled bathroom is more than we had hoped for. It's beautiful and we could not be happier.

What was supposed to be a straightforward project turned into a chaotic and financially draining ordeal, primarily due to this contractor's complete lack of professionalism, skill, and ethics. From the very beginning, it became clear that she was not competent in managing even the most basic aspects of construction. She repeatedly demonstrated a poor understanding of local building codes and construction practices--something no licensed general contractor should be unfamiliar with. I frequently found myself double-checking decisions, only to discover that what was being done either didn't meet code or was completed with poor detail. Scheduling was another major issue. She routinely forgot to schedule required inspections, which led to delays and created serious problems with permits and approvals. On multiple occasions, she missed scheduled appointments without notice or explanation. These weren't one-off slip-ups--this was a pattern of irresponsibility. Financially, things went from bad to worse. She took money for work that was either never started or only half-finished, and then attempted to rewrite parts of the contract to remove work that had already been paid for. These weren't honest mistakes--they were calculated attempts to cut corners and extract more money. It felt like being scammed by someone who had no regard for their legal or ethical responsibilities. She placed a lien on my property for an amount that was grossly inflated and far beyond what was actually owed. This false claim forced me to retain legal counsel in order to get the lien removed and the amount corrected--yet another unnecessary cost and source of stress created by her mishandling of the project. What made matters even worse was the complete disregard for my property. During demolition, reusable fixtures and working appliances were recklessly damaged or destroyed--despite clear instructions to preserve them. It was as if there was no care taken to differentiate between trash and salvageable items. Speaking of trash, rather than properly disposing of demolition debris, she left piles of garbage and discarded materials right on my driveway, creating an eyesore and a hazard that I ended up having to deal with myself. The problems extended to her team as well. Multiple subcontractors expressed frustration and concern--some told me directly that they hadn't been paid or were avoiding further work with her due to ongoing issues. When a general contractor can't earn the trust of their own subs, you know something is deeply wrong. Summary of Issues: * Incompetent with building codes and inspections * Repeatedly missed or forgot key appointments * Dishonest with payments and contract changes * Placed a fraudulent lien on my property, requiring legal action to resolve * Destroyed reusable fixtures and damaged appliances * Left demolition debris on-site, cluttering my driveway * Subcontractors openly stated they couldn't trust or rely on her This was not just a case of a project gone sideways--this was a deeply unprofessional and unethical contractor who had no business taking on work of this nature. If you're considering hiring Fabienne Debaix, I urge you to think twice. Do your due diligence, ask for multiple references, and seriously consider another contractor. Save yourself the time, money, and stress.
