Best Hands Construction has truly the best hands around. They are incredibly intelligent on the various needs of interior construction. I hired them to quickly remove these bookshelves/wire rack from my family living room and install new baseboard. I needed the area prepped for the following week's popcorn removal/wall painting. They were quick to respond to the job and the total job took 6 hours. It took them less than an hour to remove the bookshelves and boom, they found black mold! They eased my anxiety over it, worked to remove the infected drywall, and treat the areas with mold treatment. After that, they worked to install new drywall and break down the existing floor tile. They then seamlessly installed new tile to perfection! Last but not least, they added matching baseboard. The price was right for the speedy, seamless work that they did. Above & Beyond I had to entrust someone with my Grandparents home and while being out of State. I'm glad I selected Mohammad and Best Hands Construction. I found Best Hands on Yelp and IG and just felt some sort of way about them. There was really no need to convince me. I actually had an attitude with my husband at one point making it clear that we were not choosing any other, but them. We interviewed roughly 6 others, for what?. They started Apr. 18th with the demo and finished most of the work by June 15. Because I was not there, Mohammad did the initial estimate and walk thru by phone. Not sure why this was so difficult for other contractors, keep it that way. This singled Best Hands out displaying time and care. My Aunts also noted, Mohammad showed up prepared by simply having a tape measure. I thought most folks do. Carlos and Marlo started the demo. Marlo and Mohammad did a lot of the work at the property. A few others showed up to finish tile work, not sure of their names. Again, other team members would stop by every now and then to assist. They also pulled very late hours to get everything done. Plus spend time reviewing progress and cost with my husband, who also babysat by camera- it was the intense excitement. Let's be clear they updated the entire house 1600 sq. ft. 3bdrm/ 2 bth. down to the garage. I was nervous, but they did their thing. If my grandparents were alive, I think they would be amazed at the uplifting. Mohammad made mechanical, functional, and aesthetic suggestions. Down to the Gold handles on the white vanity, and even the style of sink in the kitchen...... A big big thank you to the counter top company. It's important that regardless of where you are located, people do what they agree to do. We did have to get clarity on some of the expenses as they were missed/overlooked in terms of cost, or what would be done. We did the final through with Ray and Carlos (they were amazing). And of course my husband would make some changes and Mohammad not be there. Ray is good, but just do it with Mohammad, because he has an eye and some things may be noted or thought of that he may suggest. With Ray we just gave her a rundown of everything we wanted. However, Carlos did point out some items to us. Ray even took the time to educate us on a grant for the windows, that my family should have gotten when Grandma was alive (sigh). I did incur additional cost because the ceiling in the kitchen and dining area are different. After opening the kitchen and removing the wall it was noticed, so I had to pay to rebuild a small bulk head. With the house being built in the 60's, and previous repairs done half ass, there were other unforeseen needed repairs, and Best Hands did take care of them to make sure they were fixed correctly. Reinforced walls, a leaking pipe under the tub. Much appreciated. Best Hands has established relationships with many other service providers, cabinets, counters etc. which helps him streamline the project and stay on schedule. Best Hands did go above and beyond on my project..... he felt my heart. They even covered water stains from the previous old roof, that my uncles couldn't block out (side-eye). Let me also just say this, as a person who is self employed I can't say it enough, they took very good care of me. They get calls all day. If you call, you should really consider using Best Hands, not just for an estimate. Half the time the companies that insurance carriers refer us to, do not do a good job. Select Them. I keep hearing it's hard to find reliable contractors, no need to hesitate. Decide what you want and call them. Don't worry about the others. We contacted Best Hands Construction for an estimate to complete extensive drywall repairs after a whole house repipe. The estimator arrived as scheduled and we received a written estimate a few days later. After discussions with the owner our job was scheduled for the following week. Two technicians (Carlo & Marlo) arrived on that Monday and began the work. They arrived each day when they said they would and worked all day long. The work area was kept neat and left clean each day. The work was completed with the highest quality and every repair area was left primed and ready for paint. The high spots (12') were painted by Best Hands. We painted the more accessible areas. Initially we thought the price was a bit high, however, the finished product is amazing; there is no way to tell where the repairs were made. Mohammed and his staff were excellent. We had a particularly difficult job (water leak with a difficult to locate source on an exterior wall), which required both patience and expertise. Best Hands located the problem and performed a full repair in a timely and professional manner. In the meantime we discovered another needed repair under the kitchen sink that they also completed with no issues. Mohammed and his crew at Best Hands Construction have done a lot of work for us over the past two years. They started with us by correcting the shoddy work that was done by previous contractors who had left our drywall in horrible shape after installing impact windows, and we were really impressed by how beautifully the repaired walls turned out. We've since used them for many small repairs and fixture installations, tile work, bathroom remodeling, and most recently, to repair major leak damage in our entire owner's bathroom and bedroom suite, which had to be gutted down to the concrete and wall studs. It was a huge job that spanned many months due to mold remediation, air scrubbing, and numerous air quality tests, and we are delighted that they were able to complete the work in our bedroom in time for the holidays.
