I've been seeing Dr. Neal since 2011, and he genuinely cares about all of his patients. Dr. Neal is a self proclaimed gym rat and is capable of performing adjustments on larger guys like my husband, who is built like a football player (6'3" and big). Scott was very impressed after his last chiropractor could barely manage to pop his back once or twice. He has a more gentle approach for adjusting me though. Dr. Neal is a workaholic, totally devoted to his patients. He "takes" a 2 hour lunch but won't turn away a patient walking in the door at 11:55, even if he has 5 patients already waiting. I'm willing to bet some days he misses lunch all together. It just depends on how busy he is that day. He's always there to help even if it means sacrificing a lunch break. I recommend 8:00 or early mornings. Mondays can sometimes be busy, but it's just hit or miss. I've never waited more than 30-45 minutes anytime I've visited, and he has plenty of magazines to read while you wait. As mentioned earlier, you don't have to make an appointment. If it's just too busy I return a later time or come back a different day. As for massages: it depends on the therapist. Find one you like and stick with her/him. You DO need an appointment for these, and don't be surprised if you get a call from Dr. Neal to remind you about your appointment. Adjustments are included in the massage price, so it's a really good deal.

Nothing worked long-term. I was barely able to walk and was even discussing surgery (tubular decompression at L4-L5) with my neurosurgeon. As a last attempt, I decided to try chiropractic one more time--and I'm so glad I found Dr. Ashley. After just one adjustment, I felt relief and was able to walk a mile pain-free. I've been going weekly since, and I continue to improve with every visit. What I really appreciate is her honesty and approach. She doesn't push expensive treatment plans or require multiple visits a week. Once she feels you're ready for maintenance, she tells you. I now go once a week by choice but soon I will go twice a month, and I'm still walking pain-free.
