Only bummer was as we walked out there were two intoxicated individuals in the parking lot picking fights and accosting folks passing through. Had to leave my cake behind and run to my car. As always, I requested a deal and also made an offer on their site, and they made me a fair counter-offer that I accepted. I got it just 4 days later (NV). Thanks, girl! You rawk! This was not my first purchase from them! I visited their store in Gallup years ago ... 2006? I was blown away by the amount of inventory they had. I purchased a gorgeous, heavy gauge silver, 3-stone Morenci turquoise cuff for a very fair price -- again, they gave me a little extra deal because I was a collector and they knew I knew my stuff -- and it's still a classic favorite in rotation. It's now worth twice what I paid for it! Both times, I have received very honest, good treatment, fair prices, and find the quality of their assortments to be excellent. FAIR WARNING: They do a LOT of online business so make sure to CALL THEM if you absolutely MUST have a specific piece -- get it locked down before it is sold on the web!!! Native American art and jewelry is unique, special and HIGHLY PRIZED so don't think you'll just find another one, because you won't. Trust me on this after 40 yrs of collecting!!! The main focus of this business is pawn. When I visited this store the pawn area was busy and my friend and myself were the only people in there shopping. Finally we were approached by a sales person who acted like we were bothering him to show us things. The store is set up so that the salesperson cannot easily get to different areas without walking all the way around a maze of counter displays so it is obvious they aren't there to cater to buyers. Prices were high but after checking a few prices and the bad attitude we got from the sales person who acted like he was doing us a favor and why don't you leave already so I can get back to what I was doing we left without buying anything. Trip number two, May 2017: Upgraded my rating from one star to four. This time around I had a wonderful experience at Perry Null. I was helped by a woman named Gabby who was willing to show me everything I wanted to look at. I ended up buying an exquisite Native American cuff, the likes of which I had not seen in any other shops or trading posts. Additionally, I feel like the price I paid was fair. All the merchandise/ jewelry in this store/location is phenomenally beautiful. However the jewelry is not as great as the people working there. My mother and I have purchased over 4 pieces from there, we've travel from Arizona each time and done purchases and payments without a problem. HOWEVER!!! This recent visit we came to take out a necklace we originally picked out seven months ago, we took a picture of the necklace we chose and it was processed by the lady worker who took my recent payment and she's the same one who processed the original layaway process 7 months ago. Which is originally told is over 2,000. As payments were being processed each time, we ended up paying on a completely different necklace that was 1,400. HENCE, we were not notified that the necklace was switched or there was a mix up. The lady helping us from the beginning began gaslighting us in thinking we chose the 1,400 one over the 2,000 one. I'm addition to us have picture evidence of the original choice in our phones, it was on layaway under another person. Very upset about this but the female helping us knew she messed up and that she was wrong. Super shady service this time around; and not looking forward to coming back for a while. read more

HORRIBLE experience ! Buyers beware! Perry Null posted a Two Grey Hills rug on eBay "Buy Now or Make Offer". We made an offer that was accepted within a 3 minute period of time. Were notified, "It's on it's way". After waiting for delivery, we contacted the sellers/Perry Null. The owner and his son, Jason claimed that they "could not find the rug". REALLY? Ever heard of inventory control? Is this how you keep records for the IRS as well?? What a disappointment! read more

I've been buying and selling Native American art since the 70's. Perry Null Trading is one of the premier places to buy authentic pieces. Their prices are in line with the incredible selection and diversity that is NOT easy to find at other traders. Yes, there are times, when they have to focus on their pawn clients, who are coming in the pay their tickets or to get pieces out for ceremonies. So, not the best times to go in for casual shopping. I try to get to Gallup when I can go to NM, live in Houston. My friend lives in Albuquerque and introduced me to this shop in our travels around the state. I have bought several jewelry items from Perry Null over a number of years-I treasure them, I've taken my daughters there to get birthday gifts, sent three of my brothers there to shop-they have taken clients there for wive's gifts. It's really a fun experience while you are in Gallup. I agree they are busy but you politely let them know you need help. I am always helped and plan to go back when I can, I have my husband buy my birthday and Xmas presents there. He likes to see the jewelry on me. When I wear the jewelry it reminds me of how I enjoy the trips I've made to Gallup. read more

Interesting shop! But keep in mind that these folks to not waiver on their prices. It is a matter of "take it or leave it." I have yet to be successful in trying to bargain for a better price. The question you have to ask yourself is this: how much of the selling price ACTUALLY goes to the artist? 40% or at best, 50%...just like in Santa Fe. My advice....go to the reservation and deal directly with the Native American artist. It will be a much better experience if you deal directly with the artist. Believe me...I know. read more

Some kind of racket going on here. The prices are at least twice as expensive as eBay. They don't even ask if you need help. It's supposed to be a Pawn shop but most everything is new. You can see the vault open with thousands of pieces tagged for Pawn. They must loan on the money, when Indians don't redeem they post on eBay. Obviously they could care less about selling to retail customers. Worst experience for enchanted land! Don't waste your time unless you want a family photo op.
