    Paneer Mandi

I been to this place many times over past few years. Looks like they introduced Mandis. This is the first time I had Paneer Mandi. Very tasty!! Flavors are subtler than biryani and definitely will try again. They gave two flavors of raita and saalan. Both yogurts are little sweetish( that's the only feedback) . They gave good amount of salt raita upon request. Overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend!!

Dinner for three on a weekday. Decided to try this place as it had good reviews and we wanted Indian food. Not busy, seemed clean and staff conscientious and helpful. Picked a chicken biryani, chicken tikka, garlic naan, Malala kofta and theee bottles of water. Food spiced at medium, which was pretty hot for me. Everything tasted great, plenty, but naan was very few pieces for $4.the biryani was very good and large quantity. Will come again and try some other dishes.

We stopped here for dinner on our way to New Jersey and found it to be a very nice spot. Located in a busy strip mall with plenty of parking, the ambiance was great. As it was close to closing time, they informed us upfront that some items on the menu might not be available. We browsed through the menu and were impressed by the variety. They offer appetizers, a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian entrees, tandoori dishes, biryanis, breads, desserts, and beverages. For our meal, we ordered Chicken Biryani, Butter Naan, Chili Chicken, Gongura Chicken, and Paneer Butter Masala. Initially, we wanted to order Fresh Lime Soda for everyone, but they let us know that traditional Goli Soda was available. Out of curiosity, tries the Goli Soda in different flavors--Lime-Lemon, Ginger Lime, Virgin Mojito, and Jeera. To our surprise, it was really good, and we highly recommend it. Also ordered two Fresh Lime Sodas and that was good too! The food arrived within 10-15 minutes. The Chili Chicken was served first, and it had a nice medium spice level. We really enjoyed its flavor and heat. The curries came with rice on the side. The Gongura Chicken was especially flavorful, with a slightly lighter tartness than usual, but still delicious--a great pairing with the naan and rice. The Paneer Butter Masala was creamy and perfectly complemented the naan. As for the Chicken Biryani, the chicken was well-cooked and packed with robust flavors from a blend of spices--absolutely loved it! The service was wonderful. The staff was attentive, provided great suggestions, and had pleasant attitudes. Even though the kitchen was nearly closed by the time we finished, they were patient and never rushed us. The place is well-maintained, and although it was our first time here, we were very happy with the experience. Highly recommend!

Goat curry- delicious chunky meat pieces but spicy even for a medium so order appropriately.

I'm going to start with the bad and finish with the good. The place is a no frills, simple eat in restaurant and unfortunately there were quite a few people smoking outside so the two door entrance was sucking in the smoke whenever opened and we could smell both cigarettes and weed inside. We got here about 9:00pm so there were quite a few people making this place their pit stop after coming from the bar. I wish they'd just tell smokers not to stand right by the entrance. This was our second time here, the first being a couple of years ago and returning because the food was really good back then. We were told as soon as we walked in that the kitchen was going to close in 10mins so we hastily ordered (medium spice) the chicken 65, goat curry, naan bread and a goat biryani...3 waters and 2 lime sodas. There were atleast two other groups of customers that came after us and other than the chicken65, they got all their food before us. My kids who usually love chicken65 found it to be quite spicy so my wife had to ask for water. She got one. The goat curry eventually came out and although I consider my self quite tolerant to spicy food, this was way hotter than any medium spiced dish I've had. We asked one guy for plain yoghurt and he said it's not available and brought out some Raita, then another guy later came out and gave the kids a bowl Of plain yoghurt. The Mrs also had to get up and ask for the next two waters. Finally once everyone else had been served, I lost my patience and went to the front to cancel the biryani and the lime sodas just as the guy walked out with the biryani and the sodas a few mins later. We literally waited over 40mins to just get a couple of lime sodas. How does anyone waiting tables miss the fact that their customers don't even have water to drink. Now for the good bit- the food is absolutely delicious. The chicken65 although not crispy, was incredibly flavorful and very fresh reminding me of why I came back. The goat in the curry and the biryani was fork tender, and the flavors were spot on. The service was a big let down for me so as much as I appreciated the tasty food, I didn't enjoy the meal.

Ordered all of the same items as last time (added chilli chicken to the list) ! Great food again but this time the photos will speak for the review! Also wanted to note two things I didn't mention in the last review: - Food is oily!! That's why it probably tastes good - Best to take take-out for this restaurant because the vibes of the restaurant aren't great. The restaurant itself is very dull, with very few lights and dark walls. It tends to also get very noisy. Ordered: September 25, 2022 via Take-Out

We wanted to pickup on our way to other destination. The person co-ordinating on phone was very informative and did let us know what can be available in the given transit time . The food was for kids do had asked mild dishes . Adult dishes were spicy and tasty. The food is on a spicer side so if u cannot take much spice ask for milder version. Had ordered chicken 65 and chicken biryani , both were yummy .

I was super surprised by how good the food here is. The paneer 65 was so good -spicy and good amount of quantity to share as an appetizer. The vegetarian Biriyani was the star of the show - super flavorful and so many elements to it. Service was great too. My only complaint was that the glasses do not look clean and we had to send a couple back to get replaced. Take out seems to be the more popular choice here.

Spice spice and MO SPICE! Today I had the chicken Biryani and the goat Biryani and they were both on point. Also got the garlic naan and the chili garlic naan. The garlic naan was banging as expected. Although the chili naan didn't do much for me. It may be due to the heavy spice level I had on both of the Biryani's. Out of The two I liked them both but the Goat was extremely flavorful and moist. I've been here before and am glad I came back. I would definitely recommend this to others, but I just hate that they don't have samosas.

Their digital menu via QR code is convenient and I like that you can open separate tabs if you're here with friends. Basically an easier way to pay separately. Ordering was easy too! Portion: 5 The portions are huge. Even though the bowls aren't as big as typical Vietnamese restaurants, but it is plenty of food. The summer rolls are the typical size but not over stuffed with noodles which I really appreciate. Their spring roll order came with 4 spring rolls but only one piece of lettuce, 2 pieces of cucumbers, and very little mint. It's definitely not enough to wrap all 4 spring rolls. My pho, with added bok choy, had an abundance of bok choy and the beef and brisket slices were hidden under the noodles. Flavors: 5 The soup is more delicate than typical pho broth, but I appreciate that it's not as sweet and some other restaurants make it. The last time I ate here, the broth was hotter than today, but their chili pepper sure made up for the lack of heat. It was so spicy! So good! The Pho Spot has been my go to pho place but now that it's taken over, I'm glad to see that the menu has expanded and the pho is still good. I do really miss the tripe though. They don't have that on the menu anymore.

They had made a name for themselves in my kind of feed by being a halal pho place. The issue in the past was that the menu wasn't fully halal so you had to think a bit harder about what is halal and what is not. Service was slower and I didn't really want to come back again. Food was fine but I did need to spice it up with sauces Now on to my recent experience. I was meeting some people that wanted to come here and I just wanted to be out so I said why not? Little did I know, that they actually changed management in the past year. I did notice that they have gone toward a full halal menu which is actually really nice to see. I ordered a spiced pho bowl and I did not need to add anything. It was the right amount of spice that I like which I havent seen from other pho shops. Service was very speedy. I can not remember how they did ordering before but you get a QR code on the table to scan. The code has a menu and you add items to a cart for the table and it comes on your bill together at the end. But ordering in the site has it come out minutes later or something else surprisingly fast. It has improved and I look forward to bringing others here

    | Deeply Disappointed -- What Happened to Baithakh?…read more Baithakh used to be one of our favorite go-to spots in North Brunswick. We've always enjoyed the food, but unfortunately, something has definitely changed since our last visit -- and not for the better. We ordered several dishes, including the Baithakh Seekh Kebab Roll, Crispy Fried Chicken Burger, Beef Paya, Beef Nihari, Peshawari Mutton Karahi, and Chicken Malai Boti. To our surprise, nearly everything was a letdown. The Beef Paya and Peshawari Mutton Karahi were both swimming in oil and severely lacked flavor, which was shocking considering how good they used to be. The Fried Chicken Burger had decent seasoning, but the chicken itself was tough and rubbery -- almost inedible. The Chicken Malai Boti was okay, but even that wasn't as tender or flavorful as we've had here before. Maybe they've changed chefs or recipes, but the quality just isn't the same anymore. Baithakh had never failed us before, but this visit was a major disappointment. Sadly, we're giving it a 2 out of 5 stars. We hope they find their way back to the standard that once made them great.

I would pair it with the mango lassi and it was such a great explosion of flavors - both savory and sweet. I will say they ask whether you're okay with onions and raisins in your platter. I liked them but I know raisins might not be what most people prefer to add to their rice. Service was fast. You can either order at the front table or at your seat.
