Dylan did the pest control installation and Brandon install the vents in the crawlspace under the house. It was hot and humid, with a heat index of over 100°. They were friendly, courteous, responsive, kind, professional, and worked hard, despite the very difficult weather conditions. They did not complain, and had smiles on their faces the entire time. It was just so wonderful to see. A vent got broken and they came back the very next day and installed it. Stephen came by later that afternoon, to collect payment. What a kind and gentle soul and spirit. They are such a wonderful asset to the company. it speaks volumes as to the type of company Orkin is as it shows via their employees. I'd highly recommend this company. Like most successful companies, their strength is their people. I would like to thank Jessica, my tech and Randy, a hands on manager. They have done an excellent job in maintaining my home bug free, but that pales in comparison to their actions when I had an emergency. Honey bees made a nest inside my ceiling. This was creating a huge problem as my wife is highly allergic to bees. How they were able to find the hive is a mystery to me. In 2 hours they had eradicated the problem and educated me on the issue and how to protect our home for the future. I'm not a review writer, but this company deserves the kudos for its excellence. They were customer oriented and we were always happy with them. Since Active bought them out, we have only had problems. They don't answer their phone. They don't return calls. They don't respond to emails (other than an auto reply saying "we got your email"). They are never in the office (We've gone by Brunswick office multiple times M-F during business hours and it's always locked up). They don't get customer input prior to scheduling appointments, and completely IGNORE input re: appointment dates that customers ATTEMPT to give them via email or voice mail. They just send an email out the DAY BEFORE they intend to arrive, which is NOT the day you requested. Very aggravating.

He uses pet-safe products, or at least pet-safe when dry. He also has different options for what he can use (less aggressive chemicals if that's your preference). He's also talkative and great to have around when he's there. He's giving tips and advice about what he's seeing the entire time, which is great. He also takes your input about hot-spots for bugs and what you're seeing to determine his action plan. The billing staff is a little hard to get a hold of though. The woman who came just started spraying our home with a treatment we NEVER asked for or wanted. Then, when we got home, they had the audacity to charge us a $125 fee. As she was leaving, she said it would be another $75 to lay traps for termites. When we called to ask about the unwanted treatment, the response was, "I'm sorry for the miscommunication." The entitled attitude of this company is outrageous and unprofessional. Find another company.
