We have used Pest-X (in Kernersville) for more than 30 years and always have been pleased with the nice service representatives and their service. They are friendly, conscientious, thorough, helpful at all times. We like to have the same representative and have had several who came to our house for years. Greg Blevins has been our representative for the past seven years and does an excellent job. We also had Rob install a sump pump system and a moisture barrier that greatly improved the odor in our basement. Simon (the owner) and Rob came on a Christmas morning to fix a problem with the sump pump due to our trying to keep the one we had. They did a great job replacing and fixing the drainage for a new pump -- no problems since. Greg continually cleans spider webs from around our house and fixes any problem with ventilation vents in the crawl space. He is very careful to do as we ask regarding interior spraying. Though not dangerous usually, we have a very old, sick cat. Greg always asks if there is anything extra that we need and has greatly reduced our problems with ants and other critters. I called Pest-X Exterminating because I had hornets behind the screen of my window. Pest-X was able to find the source, exterminate the hornets promptly, and have since prevented them from returning. The exterminator was super friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I called in the morning and Pest-X was able to schedule an appointment by noon. It took Pest-X 30 minutes to spray, remove the hornets, and relieve my stress of the infestation. Could not ask for better service. A really great company to deal with. It actually works! They even took care of a carpenter bee problem for me that was so annoying. The bees were destroying my shed and swing set. They came over and evaluated the situation. Took care of it shortly after. They also do all of my regular maintenance for my business and residential. SCAM: Beware of this business- Website claims FREE INSPECTION. We requested service which added extra hidden $125 fee for a "wildlife inspection". We were told the fee would be applied to services unless it was birds. The tech found mouse droppings using MY supplied flashlight. When we asked to apply the inspection fee to the service, we were told "mice are not considered wildlife" by the office, so the fee is gone. I tried in every way to work with the business to smooth things out before leaving this review. read more
