They were great!! I toke him and he right with them. When i came back to get him he was excited and they warned us about everything we needed to know of. They explained and asked us for anything we needed!!

Was a bit hesitant since the price was so affordable compared to others, but let me say, WOW! My 8 month old kitten went in to get spayed there exactly a week ago, upon first getting her home and inspecting her wound area i was pleasantly surprised with how clean and nice it looked. For a spay and chip it was $90 and i can't recommend it enough for those of us who can't afford the $500 spays or neuters. Smooth and easy process!

Kitten post-op currently too afraid for me to even get near her

Multiple members of the staff lied about accepting CareCredit prior to my cat getting spayed today and lied again on the morning of her surgery as well, reiterating that they accepted it. They do not. When I brought this up to an employee in attempts to resolve the issue I was faced with complete disregard and a snarky attitude from her as well as the same worker who had lied to my face this morning. I called her out on her lies and requested to speak with the director. She only served to back her employee in their false claims of coverage, was barely be able to get a coherent word out when confronted, and lied to us repeatedly as well about the care that my kitten received. My kitten was finally brought out to me, almost entirely sedated still, and I was told she was "too aggressive" with the staff up until that point to have the e-collar put on by them. She is only is a 5lb kitten with not a single care in the world, especially when she is still sedated. Every single cat pickup prior to us were all told the same thing about their animals as well, which I pointed out. The director then changed her tune and told me cats were not able to be transported in collars as it was "stressful" to them while her other employee then took my kitten to the back to put it on (in less than a minute) for transport. Essentially, they'll charge you for an e-collar and the application of it, but then will force you to do it at home on the deceitful premise that your sweet animal is "aggressive". My kitten is now flinching anytime I try to put a hand near her so God only knows what they did to my poor baby. The director as well as her staff are entirely incompetent and should be fired for their excessively dishonest behaviour. Do not go here if you love your pets.

My cat 4lb Persian needed her yearly shot. The day before thanksgiving I got an appointment. I asked when they call my car in " do you want me to come w you she's fiesty " oh no she said; 1 min later they did not attempt to take her out of her crate they allegedly said she was attacking inside her crate and almost fell off the table. She was stressed. They wouldn't let me go in first off, then calm her down, the VET decided she was afraid to do " her job" get my animal something to calm her down or get the right materials to do your job! You are in the wrong business if you afraid of domesticated animals. I can now not go home bc no one can fit me in day before holidays. No I do not recommend this place or the guy with his covid mask on.. sitting in a chair only!! No! No! No!

Picking up Tessy after getting fixed. What a great place and great people! Come one and come all, make a donation if you don't have a pet!

What a great place this is as they make it affordable to take care of your pups. The services they offer are a huge benefit to the community and I appreciate all their efforts from spay/nueter at a affordable price. They also have catch and release program for feral cats to control population. I would recommend this place to anyone and please remember to donate when you go as that goes right back into keeping this vital place open. The Pet Community Center also has flea protection for sale as well provides shots and tags. Awesome place with great people who want to help.

Took our dog there to be neutered. They did a great job and really helped us to be able to afford the procedure.

Our sweet senior dog is starting to need more and more veterinary care, and after a not-so-great visit elsewhere, we decided to try somewhere new. With a quick peek at their Yelp page, Belmont Animal Hospital seemed to be highly regarded by many pet parents around town, and one of our previous vets that we just adored had actually recently moved to this practice herself! We saw Dr. Nelson, who is thorough and detail-oriented while still being incredibly friendly to both myself and my dog. She addressed all of my concerns, scheduled a follow-up exam, and even began planning ahead for my pup's annual vaccines in a few months. I appreciate her thoughtfulness during the appointment, along with the attentiveness from both of the vet techs we saw! I felt that the prices were very fair, especially given the care we received. Obviously going to the vet isn't going to be cheap - but there are definitely some practices in ritzy parts of town that price gouge. This is not one of those places, thankfully, and I'm thrilled that they offer an online pharmacy that price matches to Chewy! Big thanks to the wonderful team at Belmont Animal Hospital ... it means so much to me and my husband that our dogs are in such capable and caring hands.

A Difficult Experience During a Painful Time…read more Losing a pet is incredibly hard, and when we faced the sudden decline of our beloved four-legged family member a year ago, we were emotionally vulnerable. Our regular vet recommended NVS when our senior dog suddenly couldn't move and was in obvious distress. We share this backstory to highlight our state of mind during our visit. After the initial exam, we were told our dog's condition could be terminal cancer or something else entirely, requiring surgery and tests for a definitive diagnosis. When we pressed for a prognosis, we received vague answers: days or weeks if it was terminal cancer, possibly years if it was something else. Given her advanced age, we questioned if putting her through surgery was truly in her best interest, and even asked about euthanasia, but received little guidance. The most jarring moment came when the surgeon, called in specially, told us, "I can give you five minutes to decide on the surgery. Then I leave" This comment, more than anything, shifted our focus from our pet's well-being to the surgeon's impatience. It left a lasting negative impression during an already agonizing decision-making process. Despite the uncertainty, and given less than ten minutes total to decide, we opted for surgery. The outcome was the worst-case scenario: terminal cancer. She might have weeks, maybe a few months. Ironically, the same surgeon who showed little empathy earlier offered the most poignant advice: "Be as present with her as you can." This, too, has stayed with us. During this stressful time, the discussion of costs arose. Over the phone, we were quoted upwards of $7,000, with an itemized breakdown including the initial exam, surgeon's consult, and surgical costs. We painstakingly confirmed the grand total multiple times, even writing it down for our records, as we were not at our best. We were told complications might make this go higher, but we would be called beforehand. At the end ended up around 10 thousand plus. There was no call. However, upon picking up our dog post-op, the bill was significantly higher. We were told we had "misheard" or "misunderstood," which we firmly disagreed with. They claimed the calls were recorded and they would listen back, leading us to believe the discrepancy would be resolved. We paid the inflated amount to take our dog home, but despite numerous follow-up calls, we never received a response or resolution regarding the overcharge. Our precious and loyal furbaby passed away just three weeks after the surgery. Now, with some distance, we can reflect on our experience. While we cannot blame NVS for her terminal condition, the overall lack of empathy and care shown towards both our pet and us during such a vulnerable time, coupled with the billing issue and subsequent unresponsiveness, lack oh empathy makes it impossible for us to recommend their services. One more thing the people at the front desk are just rude and cold with no c We still not hear from anyone to do a follow up on Torry and this means they don't care and just to hear their name make me sick. At the end of the day this place could and should be more understanding, emphatetic of the hard time when we deal with the health of our family members but for them is only money signs and like my grandmother used to say " actions speak Lauder then words? in this case no word nor actions.
