I volunteer at Wild Woods Rescue. We brought one of our rescue dogs, Joy, here to be spayed, and…read morethe experience was an absolute disaster. Over the phone, they quoted us $230, with optional fees for vaccines and other add-ons. But when we arrived, the price had mysteriously doubled, and we were being charged extra for things that should be included in a standard spay, like pain meds and an IV. When we picked her up, they pushed unnecessary treatments. Despite declining, they still charged us for flea treatment--Joy didn't even have fleas! They also falsely claimed she had worms, trying to sell us dewormer. This was a blatant lie. Joy had already been dewormed and tested negative before the spay, and subsequent testing confirmed she was worm-free. The worst part? A month later, after Joy was adopted into her forever home in Vermont, she went into heat! The clinic failed to spay her correctly, the theory is that they left behind ovarian remnants. This caused issues for her new family and hurt our rescue's reputation since we assured them she was spayed. When we contacted the clinic for a refund or resolution, they flat-out refused to accept responsibility. They wouldn't honor a diagnosis from another vet and instead suggested we bring Joy back for re-examination--despite knowing she was adopted out of state and cannot travel 20 hours back to Alabama. This was their mistake, and yet they're unwilling to make it right without further costs and inconvenience to us. Our rescue is now telling all of our adopters not to go here, and we would just like everyone else to know the problems that we had so that they can make the right decision.

Our daughter was graduating from Fort Benning and we traveled from IL with her fur baby. Ami helped us by keeping him during the ceremony so we could attend. We met her when we dropped off our daughter six weeks before. What first impressed us was that she was the only groomer in Columbus we contacted that wanted to meet our pup to make sure it was a good fit. We really appreciated that and knew she really cared about her animals and making sure they were all safe and not stressed. She kept him for an hour giving us time to go eat while they got acquainted. He did amazing and they were all so incredibly nice. Then, on graduation day, she came in earlier than her posted hours so we could attend the ceremony on time. He loved his time there and we felt so relieved to have a safe and loving place for him to be while we were away. Especially in an area we are not from or familiar with. It could not have gone better!! Her facility is well cared for, everyone working there is over the top friendly and it is clear they love what they do. We are so thankful for Ami and all of her help! We highly recommend Yuppy Puppy Grooming Salon and Doggy Hotel!

Northridge Veterinary Center has taken care of everything: her vaccines and rabies shots, spay procedure, annual check- ups, and even boarding her when I travel. The staff is always so kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. Not just toward my dog but towards me as well. They communicate clearly, answer any questions I may have, and always make me feel confident that my dog is in good hands. It is such a comforting feeling knowing she's being cared for by people who are not only knowledgeable but also truly happy to be there. I am so grateful for the love and attention they've given her over the years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND The only downside is that they can be a bit on the pricey side, but the quality of care and peace of mind they provide makes it worth it for me.

We had a wonderful experience with Northridge with our English Bulldog and her journey with cancer…read more So when we adopted another dog, we took her to Northridge. One morning she had a medical episode that was an absolute emergency. I called the vet to rush her in and was told I could bring her in within 30 minutes. (Yea - you need an appointment in an emergency.) After about 20 minutes of evaluation, I was told to take her to the Auburn ER. It was 10am. And Auburn ER is an hour away. I DESPERATELY with I had questioned this because it was only 10am and my dog was in medical distress and Auburn is a long drive. She died on the way. I took her into Auburn ER anyway. And they looked her body over and said they believe she had anaphylactic shock. Which is treatable by a vet. So they asked me multiple times who sent me and why did they send me all the way to Auburn? Insinuating that my vet should have recognized the symptoms and treated her. This was a traumatizing experience. And I daily ask myself why didn't I question driving that far with a dog in medical distress. We have taken our new dog to our previous vet. Who in a situation with one of our English Bulldogs, chose to evaluate her for several hours before sending me to Auburn, only because heart issues are a specialty.
